Mike Williams And Jacoby Ford

4 posts in this topic

I don't know if this has been discussed yet, but I didn't find anything. These two fourth round picks has been playing beyond their draft pick statuses. Mike Williams I thought was gonna be good, just a little trouble off the field. I thought whoever picked him up in a late round would get a steal. He deffinently has been a playmaker for the Buccs.

Jacoby Ford may not have the numbers Mike Williams has, but he has had some great games. Really suprised me, like when he has takes a couple of picks away. He lools like he is going to be a great Al Davis type of player.

What do you guys think. You think they are going to keep playing at this level. You think Mike Williams trouble off the field is going to be an issue.

Williams playing well isn't surprising. The guy is a first round talent and playing like it.

The kick returns form Ford aren't much of a surprise either considering his track speed but the play he's made in recent weeks as a receiver have been amazing.

Ya I was kinda hoping for the Ravens to pick Williams in a late round. I knew he was a first round talent, but the off the field stuff dropped his stock. I didn't think Ozzie would get him because of that.

Looks like Oakland might of got a steal if he can keep playing like he is. I really like him and hope he does well.

I would have all been for Baltimore taking Williams in the third and Pitta (since I'm thinking Dickson would be gone) in the fourth. Boldin, Mason, and Williams would be quite the receiving corp with a keystone for the future. Regardless though, Williams should have gone much sooner, the Bucs got a huge steal.
