Heap has been one of my favorite players on the Ravens for as long as I could remember.. but to shawn's point... the NFL is the Not For Long league.. Heap is more expensive, injury prone(ish), and older then the other 2.... I'm rooting for heap.. but you mean to tell me he didn't feel the need to step up his game when we drafted 2 TE's back to back?
Im sure in the back of his mind he knows his time is almost up but I think he still has 2-3 good years left if his body can hold up.

I definitely agree with the fact that Heap has been amazing this year. And it has to do with the fact he is healthy. I just remember watching him with Kyle Boller and Boller would completely hang Heap out to dry play after play. And that affected his health. Flacco doesn't really do that as much and it shows.

We'll need him to come up big Sunday! HEEEEAAAAPPPP!

It's HEEEEEEEEEEEEAP time, baby. If Gronkowski of the Pats can go off against the Steelers, I have a feeling that Heap will too.

Heap is money. always has been. Glad he's reaping the benefits of his hard work and his diligence to mostly help blocking the previous two years.

I would be pissed if Heap didn't make the Pro Bowl. I realize Gates has better receiving numbers statistically, but that's because Gates is primarily used as a receiver. It's tough to measure the value of blocking, but I think Heap does a great job at that too (probably his strong suit if anything). Heap should get the nod if just for all the shots he's been taking.

Honestly, I don't think I have more confidence in any play than a Flacco-to-Heap exchange. I feel like every time he's targeted it's a TD or a first down. (He's 3rd in the league in 1st down percentage for TEs by the way. 3rd place for TEs who have more than 2 completions that is.)
