Watching, I knew Ed broke up a good amount of passes but according to Matt Vensel, he broke up a career-high five of them. Three of them came in the red-zone.

Hopefully, he can snag an interception off Big Ben next Sunday.

I kept saying to my old man that Ed was going to get a pick today, but damn!! He was all over the place, though.....

I saw him in quite a few pass breakups, but didn't know he deflected 5. That's amazing, and he almost came away with about two picks if I remember.

Freakin amazing and almost spiritual!

Excellent work! He sure has provided a huge lift to our defence. I know we didn't generate any turnovers today, but there were several real chances for turnovers - most of which centred around Reed in coverage.

Doesnt it seem like Reeds hands have homing missles lol. I was hoping for a pick as well but would be to happy with a pick 6 against the Steelers.

If this is Reed in so-called "training camp mode," imagine how good he'll be when he's back in regular-season mode and *gasp* playoff mode!...

On a side note, I was a little concerned when I saw Reed sitting on the bench by himself, hunched over and wincing a little in pain. I think he's sacrificing more of himself than we even realize, possibly beyond the neck impingement, strained hamstring, and hip injury. I hope that he can be the X-factor that pushes this defense to the point of being good enough to supplement this potent offense and win a championship.

I noticed the same thing. He's definitely sacrificing himself. To what extent I don't know. I hope it's not too much. All I do know is that I am glad he's back and I'm enjoying watching him play for us, win or lose. It would be hard to know how much longer he'll be playing.
