I know it gets old talking about the refs but today was horrendous. BS calls in critical moments of the game for tampa and us. I think this is unacceptable they need to suspend these[i] <refs>[/i] a game or something.

I definitely agree that the Holding call on Boldin, which erased the TD by Rice, was as demoralizing as the missed PI on the next play. However, the call on the Buccaneers that set up Mason's TD was also questionable. Those aforementioned two plays made the game closer than it should have been, but on the other hand, the call against their QB helped us pull away. Sadly, we shouldn't be too surprised this far into the Season.

As a fan of a team people always see the bad calls against his/her team but never comment on the bs calls that are in your favor. It goes both ways!

No. This time I saw bad and questionable calls on both teams. Some of the holding type calls were blatant. That PI was pretty obvious, still some were pretty bad. Same could be said in the Steelers game on Thursday.

Suffice to say, when they announce which crews are working the playoffs, this crew should be watching on TV.

You can't say this game was lost to either team by the zebras because they were all-around bad.

Raheem Morris cried like a little girl after the PI call, too. I guess Talib was tired of getting destroyed by Derrick Mason. The Ravens were playing with the same shoddy crew of refs, too, and it obviously affected them, as well. Those refs won't be coaching in January, when the real games happen and the real teams are playing.

As unacceptable as it is for a ref to say that...the amount of complaining the Bucs did *ON FIELD*(emphasis) was almost warranting the ref telling Talib he played like garbage.

Evenly called on both sides.

A bad holding call lead to Rice's TD being taking away
A non PI call on Heap stalled the same drive.
A bad PI call at the end of the half allowed us to score a TD.

We had a touchdown erased and a holding penalty on the Bucs that went unenforced. After the Redding interception we declined the holding call against the Bucs. They challeneged and the Bucs ended up keeping possession, however the refs seemed to have forgotten all about that holding penalty we originally declined which we should have been given the option to accept, as the verdict of the play had changed.

Pretty bad job by the refs, but if they had been better it would have been perhaps 24-17 so it's not like the course of a season has been changed here.

Hey, what range is that you are shooting on in your avatar? Is that Lejeune? Being a Steelers fan, I have to guess that you are marking a miss at the 300 right there? I was a marksmanship instructor, and an eventual ops chief for Range Control. I miss the ranges lol. Good times. Sorry for hijacking the thread!

That was the 300 and it was a 4 or a 5. I have other shots from the 500; nothing but big white spotters from there.

Yea, Lejeune. I wanted to be a marksmanship instructor myself.
