Oh Sure-and this message board is just so amazingly full of enlightening material. Talking about how great the Ravens are and how they will smash the Steelers. You guys are the hilarious ones. I guess you think we are just gonna roll over for Flacco and let him stand around in the pocket and have fun huh? Doubtful in fact I can promise that Flacco will not have any time to pass and everyone knows what happens to Joe when he is pressured!
Ravens offensive line keep Flacco safe last go around and I don't see this being any different. To get all that pressure on Flacco youre going to need to bring the blitz and Flacco has good numbers against the blitz.

The Saints dominated the Steelers offense b/c they brought loads of different blitzes. Big Ben was confused and had no idea where to go with the ball. Baltimore needs a masterful gameplan like the Saints had.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Harbaugh, emphasis playing a full 60 minute game where we do not let off the gas. We have yet to do that and it irritates me because we have soooooooo much potential. Football-wise, we have whooped Pittsburgh in the past 3 meetings. Those games shouldn't have been as close as they were but they were because we tone down and play to the opponents level. If we get the lead, KEEP IT GOING and don't let up. The Steelers are too dangerous and opportunistic of a team to let hang around in the ball game.

This is the game where I hope we put all the pieces together because we have soooo much talent in all 3 phases of the game it's ridiculous. We just need to use it for an entire football game.

The Saints D had a terrific game, and the offense too, but their D really impressed me more than they ever did last year. I worry about our game against them if they play like that.

I honestly believe that we will win this. I just think were the better team and the Steelers haven't played very well against winning teams this season. It feels like our time, so let's go make sure it is.

If we can get our injured players back, we'll be in great shape to win this game, especially since we'll be at home.
But if we're missing Oher, Landry, McClain, etc. we'll be in bad shape.

I feel like Joe had a pretty bad, not horrible, game yesterday.
I'm a huge supporter of Flacco but I didn't see what I'm used to seeing from Joe.

However, I do think the Bucs have a better secondary, or at least one that is more effective against us, than the Steelers secondary.

I think the healthier team will win, and while I hope it's the Ravens, I'm worried about our injuries, so we'll just have to wait until later this week to see what's going on.

Yes, the Saints game was bad, but part of that was the predictability of the Steelers offense. Arians called a horrible game. The only time the blitz of the Saints works is when it's 3 and predictable (7 yards +) because the opposing team can't hit the hot read for the first down.

If you would see that game again, the Steelers did not run play action once on first down which would have given Ben time to look down the field instead of always trying to establish the run.

It was truly one of the worst called offensive games I have ever seen.

Either way, no matter how either team is playing, everyone knows that the Steelers/Ravens games always come down to the 4th quarter whether the score is 30-30 or 2-2.

How exactly have the Ravens as you like to say "whooped" the Steelers the last 3 meetings? The Steelers won the game in Pittsburgh in December last year and the Ravens needed to come back late in both games last year in Baltimore and this year in Pittsburgh when the Steelers didnt have their franchise QB playing in both games.

Last time we faced the Steelers, we didn't get that great of pressure. But this time, remember, they've got a decimated O-line. Remind you of anyone?

I expect this to be a very defensive match.

Well. Well. So we meet again. Both teams 8-3 and recently pulling out wins. The Ravens won the 1st one and lead in the division by a hair, but Flacco has never won when Ben was playing... Should be another "rootin-tootin" shoot out !
Will need blood pressure medication for this one...

I'm already tired of this line. The team hasn't beaten Ben recently; saying Joe "has never won when Ben [is] playing" just makes no sense to me considering it's a team game.

Is it Joe's fault Kelley Washington decided to hold a Steelers player for no reason during McGahee's TD run last year or Mason dropping a pass that hit him in the hands in the end-zone in the December game last year?

when we win this week, its going to be 'oh, about time' and 'we've only beaten him once' etc etc ....
I wouldnt stress it, its not going to end anytime soon regardless of the outcome of the game.

When Ben Roethlisberger plays against the Ravens he makes plays and finds ways to win he always has no matter how bad the Steelers offensive line is. I want to see Joe Flacco do what he did in Pittsburgh the 4th week of the season against this Steelers defense in a game in December where there are more playoff implications on the line and the game has much more meaning...

If we win this week, it's gonna be more like, "Oh we still got 6 SBs." Not every Steelers fan will be saying that, but some will, no questions asked.

Yeah and when they lose this Sunday, they will use the excuse that Ben has a sore tootsie. I do not care. It will still be a W in our win column.

Ravens 8-3
Steelers 8-3

It's what every Raven fan has been waiting for. STEELER WEEK!

Last time we met the Steelers fell on a last minute comeback touchdown by Flacco. BUT... Ben wasn't on the field due to his suspension.

Big Ben VS Joe Cool.

IT'S ON!!!!

I wont use that excuse at all. If the Ravens win and are the better team I will give my congrats as painful as it will be for me to do and look forward to the rest of the season. No matter who wins this game Sunday night I believe there is still a very good chance the Ravens and Steelers will meet for a 3rd time in the middle of January...

and if he does, what will change? Nothing.
Just like you're mitigating what Flacco already DID do to you guys earlier this year, because you're acting as if we didnt know that game would have every bit of much of a playoff implication as this game does.

I get what youre saying but all Im saying is I would rather win this game this Sunday in Baltimore then have won that game in Pittsburgh earlier in the year if we had to split with Baltimore like we do a lot of the time because this game will be closer to the playoffs and will have a greater impact on the standings going into the last 4 games. The Steelers while they did lose to the Ravens in week 4 had enough time and enough games left to make up for that loss which they did. The Ravens if they lose to the Steelers on Sunday wont have that same luxury as they will need a lot more to fall their way and most likely need to win out...

Even though he had an ugly missed tackle on TB's back-up TE yesterday, J.J. has stood out, especially in the pass rushing department the past two weeks. Hopefully, he can continue his resurgence against the Steelers and their banged up line.
