Injuries aside, these teams are dead even in every position on all sides of the ball.

I was reading on the steelers message board that James Harrison may receive a 1 Game suspension for his hit today on Ryan Fitzpatrick. If thats true, that could benefit us greatly.
So wait....

1st Game: Steelers without Ben

2nd Game: Steelers with Ben BUT potentially Without Harrison?? Wow.

Mike Florio just said Oher should be ready for Sunday night's game. I know that he isn't the team doctors or anything like that but I guess we just have to keep our hopes up.

If we play next week like we did this week, we're gonna lose. Our offense is simply putrid right now, save for two drives today, and our final drive. We need that mentality every drive. Something's wrong, and it needs to be fixed. Now.
If the steelers play next week like they did this week against. We're gonna win by 2-3 scores. Our offense seems to step up for the big games. If their is any concern its the OL push regarding the running game. Although the last drive of the game this week seemed promising as we were able to pound the rock to close out the game.

A healthy O-line is key. If Joe has time he can pass all over this Steeler's secondary.

and we've seen it done

These games are my favorite of the year, the most physical battles you will see this year. Getting the win in Pittsburgh was huge even with Big Ben out. The offense still had to face that Steelers defense and in the end we got the better of them. I'm sure it's going to be more of a challenge for our defense with Ben back in there and his ability to scramble around to extend plays. Mike Wallace is fast, very fast, so I hope Webb can contain him like he did in the first meeting...or whoever coach decides to put in there.

I think the Ravens offense has the end over the Steelers offense, their O-line is patched together due to injuries. I'm betting the Ravens get a nice amount of sustained pressure on Ben. The Ravens will need to play a FULL 4 quarters if they want to sweep the Steelers. I believe it can be done!!

If we thought we had a couple of bogus pinalties today, wait until the Steelers come in town.Probably be yellow flags galore.

Hopefully we get some decent refs for this game.

Looking forward to it and praying hard for Ravens win.

Both teams are good but are working out issues. It's going to be a good one and close one. It really will come down to who can play a complete game and utilize their talent the best. I'm waiting for a truly great game from the Ravens in which we click on all cylinders. This would be a great week to get hot.

That is exactly how I feel. Pitt's secondary is downright awful. If a team can keep their quarterback upright, he'll have a big day against them (see Tom Brady.) However, it's also important that the Ravens defense be able to stop Roethlisberger.

If Oher can't play and Joe gets flattened then it's going to be a long day in Baltimore.

I can already hear the excuses out of Steeler fans should we win if this is the case.

Steelers O line is hit hard with injuries. If we keep the pressure on like we did against the Bucs I see multiple sacks in this game.

I want big ben out there because since he wasnt there earlier this year that was the fans execuse, now if we beat them with big ben and polamolu then they can officially eat crow and ride the wild card

Funny thing is, the Pitts secondary isn't horrible, they are a step below average. Reason that you're seeing the secondary get torched is the absence of Brett Kiesel and Aaron Smith. Not only are these guys run stuffers, but they eat up two blockers on the pass rush. Watch the game next week, the Steelers aren't getting pressure unless they're bringing 6 or 7 players.

So to sum up, Im not saying the secondary is good but they're getting exploited partly because of the lack of a pass rush.

Eh, if people haven't noticed by now, sacks don't mean much against the Steelers. Everyone gets sacks against the Black and Gold.. But 3 of the 5 sacks against Buffalo were from Ben holding the ball wayyyy to long. I'd love to see Ben not get sacked but I guess it's just something us Steeler fans have to deal with because he isn't gonna change.

On a side note, when I was watching the Ravens game, it seemed like Flacco was holding the ball pretty long too on the times he was getting hit??

Ravens 8-3
Steelers 8-3

This is it 60 mins determines the next superbowl champion we ready no ones coming into m@t bank stadium and beating us thats that

It's what every Raven fan has been waiting for. STEELER WEEK!

Last time we met the Steelers fell on a last minute comeback touchdown by Flacco. BUT... Ben wasn't on the field due to his suspension.

Big Ben VS Joe Cool.

IT'S ON!!!!

The speech I would give prior to this game would go something like this:

We've been buiding for 3 years for this very moment, now we must cease greatness, take it by force and extract the soul from the YELLOW AND GOLD. No longer can we sit back and wonder "what If", It's time, NOW IS THE TIME TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER. Is it personal? Damn right it's personal, because an UNWELCOME GUEST is in our house any they're standing in our way of GREATNESS, planning on taking what's ours, what you've battled for. NOT TODAY! Sixty Minutes of perfection, WE WILL PLAY THE PERFECT GAME, we will be the BEST TEAM ON THE FIELD. Leave NO DOUBTS, all questiones will be answered come Sunday night! We're going to pound them early and often until they can no longer fight.

We will be the agressor and the counter puncher! Every hit we indure will only add fuel to our fire and the fury you'll bring. Do you remember what it felt like when we tasted DEFEAT? That burning in your gut when the battle was lost? Let me qoute the great John Madden "The road to Easy Street goes through the SEWER". We've felt that pain,we've been in the sewer. Now it's time MEN, TIME to make them feel how we felt when everything was on the line and we came up short. Do you want the Divison Crown? Are you ready to give it all you've got, to PROVE you're the BEST? Men, all we have is today; NOW IS THE TIME. TAKE WHAT IS YOURS, Together, as a family, as a Team and for the CITY OF BALTIMORE.

I age half a year every time I watch a Pittsburgh game.

I felt like I aged a few years after every close game this season. Now I'll have another nail biter....

The Steelers official message board is cracking me up... first of all it doesn't even look half as good as this board, and they are just droning on and on about how Goodell has it out for the Steelers and should be fired and how tough the refs have been on them this season (despite owing the refs for the Dolphins game). Hilarious.

Ben is suffering from a foot sprain.
Yea he does but I highly doubt it prevents him from playing in the game Sunday in Baltimore. He had it yesterday the entire 2nd half against the Bills and he still finished the game and played quite well and made a ton of plays still moving around and out of the pocket...

i think the offense will be ok if they dont turn over the ball ... the defense has gotta step up in the 2nd half it seems like they play softer in the 2nd half

Most of the penalties in the game yesterday against the Bills were good calls. The Steelers just happened to commit them everytime they made a big play on offense and it costs them big time. The Steelers cannot have that many penalties next week against the Ravens and expect to win because they wont. They must clean those penalties up and play smarter football or beating the Ravens will be that much more difficult then it already will be...

Oh Sure-and this message board is just so amazingly full of enlightening material. Talking about how great the Ravens are and how they will smash the Steelers. You guys are the hilarious ones. I guess you think we are just gonna roll over for Flacco and let him stand around in the pocket and have fun huh? Doubtful in fact I can promise that Flacco will not have any time to pass and everyone knows what happens to Joe when he is pressured!
