Flacco For Vick Then For Freeman

15 posts in this topic

I dont know why i can not play with Flacco in the game.. I traded him for Vick and a draft pick.. Vick won MVP and got me to AFC Championship... Next season i traded for Freeman and draft pick almost got me to Superbowl but i made a dumb mistake in defence calling and lost..

Freeman got a strong arm man..Speed and his accurancy is awesome..

The fact that you mentioned Freeman's speed was awesome tells me that you like rolling out of the pocket a lot and possibly scrambling. Trading for Vick prior to that almost confirms my suspicion. That tells me that you are not a traditional pocket passer when you play, which is why you struggle with Flacco. Flacco's ratings are designed to make him an effective weapon in the pocket, not on the run.

Vick's throwing motion annoys me so much that I find him unusable. It feels like it takes forever to get going and screws up my reads.

You got it bro.. I hate sitting in the pocket.. The reason I traded Mike Vick is because he had fumble issues. I swear , everytime he gets sack or tackle he fumbles.

Forgot to mention that I had Vince Young also and he had fumble issues also.. He also won MVP.. Lol

LOL than the offensive line is doing it's job. Now if your sitting in the pocket and you can't find open receivers and only rely on scrambling something is wrong. Personally, I'm more of a pocket guy and your style of play is scrambling. The only time I scramble is if I move out of the pocket to keep the play alive to find more time to get a receiver open, and if there is plenty of room in front of me where I can get a good amount of yardage I'll take off and go.

Well I don't run the QB unless I see and open lane .. I basically scramble out of the pocket to give me some time to hit a receiver on the move.

I do fine when rolling out of the pocket with Flacco. Tho I usually only roll out when I know Im going to go deep and I need time for my WRs to get open, so Ill stay in the pocket for a few then roll out so Im not totally exposing myself to soon to the DEs. I think it takes time to get used to playing as a certain QB. I noticed when I play the Pro Bowl I always do bad with other QBs cause Im used to Flaccos traits/accuracy/thowing power.

Yes it does.. I tried Flacco for a season and half and he was too slow for me . Esp. doing play action plays. So just before trade deadline 2nd season .. He trade him for Vick.. He won MVP but we lost in championship finals.. Then very next season I traded him for Vince Young who also won MVP but he had the same issue as Vick Fumbles after fumble .. So I traded him and .. Get this ... Ray Rice for a corner rated 93 and Josh Freeman .. Freeman good scrambler, handles playaction perfect and got a strong arm.. He turning some no name receivers into big name...into my 6th season .. No superbowl yet but think soon..should have won it last season but I picked a dumb d fence play and got burned..

How's your run game (RB's not QB)? Would you mind sharing your slider settings? I struggle with the run, but everything else seems pretty realistic.
