Concerts

Coolest recent concert I went to was Cypress hill. I like them , but I am not a big fan. I just knew they would be sick. It was at Pier 6 and they brought a 7 foot piece of perephenilia (not gonna fix that spelling) and proceeded to utilize it. The concert was tame and kept legal for the most part till the end, as I assume all at Pier 6 are. Which was good because it kept people from acting stupid.
Another really good one was Roots Rock Reggae at a pavillion. Stephen>Ziggy> Damian Marley live. But all 3 were so great. Ziggy is great because his voice is similar to Bob Marley's and he plays a lot of Bob's stuff. All three actually did some Bob songs. Soja also played there. And I have seen them since then, and they are not NEARLY as good. Or maybe it is just they only play bigger venues better. But the music choice, actual sound, and their performance in general was great there, not elsewhere.
Outkast was another group that was great live. I went to a hip hop festival, and I think Andre 3000 surprise guested with Big Boi. Never a big fan, but they know how to put on a show. A few more notables who also played well there were K'Naan, The Roots, and Nas.
I am a huge Sublime fan, andd risked seeing Sublime with Rome last spring. I was not disappointed. Rome is a great fit, although no Bradley, and it was an awesome experience.
Although it is great to see an artist you have always loved, some just put on a performance that is far better than others. And when it is outside, there is just somethin that happens with that lighting when the sun goes down for those later acts.

Some artists I have never seen, probably never would, but would love to more than others would be:
1. Radiohead
2. A Tribe Called Quest
3. Circa Survive
4. Gorillaz
5. Jay-Z
6. Wu-Tang (saw some members but not all as a group)
7. Black Star
8. Smashing Pumpkins
9. Modest Mouse
9.

Anyone ever seen GWAR? Their concerts are insane.

i promised myself I would. I heard they are awesome, and have seen some videoes. I hear they do things such as spray various body fluids on the crowd.

Also another concert I went to that was unexpectedly good was Super Mash Bros. I am not a fan of mash-up, I like original music. but they came to my school. Free concert was worth a shot. I think having my Ravens flask there is what truly made it. Just like always, before I hand out shots to strangers through my Ravens flask I made them acknowledge the team on it hahha
