I think worst case scenario 3-3... but the question is do you think we could make the playoffs in the AFC this year with a 10-6 record??
Nope.....10-6 misses playoffs this year in the AFC. Hell, 11-5 may miss it like what happened to the Pats in '08.

Their all nail bitters. I'm just hoping we are the one that find ways to win.
The Saints game worries me the most. I don't care if they're plagued with injuries, they still have Brees, Colston, Moore, Meachem, and Bush should be back, so their Offense has a big edge over our D. I hope it's really cold that game!

The Steelers game is always close, but Raven-killer Santonio Holmes isn't around anymore, and their O-line is weak so I like our chances at Home.

Tampa Bay is going to be a tough team, especially if we don't close those humongous gaps in our Run D... Mike Williams is a beast and will eat our DBs for lunch if we're not careful.

Houston is Houston and doesn't worry me at all. Their D is atrocious, and they don't have that "it" factor where they're able to close out games.

The Browns game in Cleveland isn't going to be a cake-walk either, but a win should be in order against a Rookie QB; Cincinnati at Home shouldn't give us any issues.

5-1 is possible, but 4-2 is more likely which should be enough (given one of those 4 wins is Pitt) to win the division and get us a Home playoff game this year!

I think we have to worry about Tampa Bay. Freeman just seems to pull off some Worthlessberger trickery in each game. And by that I mean he throws it in the middle of nowhere and someone's there to catch it. But I also think we can handle them. We definitely need to play big on defense. With Freeman's trickery and their power running game, we need to play hard defense. I also think we need to be aware of Rondae(Sp?) Barber. He's getting up there in years, but he's one of those backfield presences like Reed(except Reed's a million times better and more of a ball hawk)I didn't know the Texans had a bad run defense, but have you seen their pass defense? They've lost in the final seconds of two games in a rown now I heard. I think Saints and Steelers are going to be the ones to worry about. Saints are getting it together again and the Steelers have Big Jen Worthlessberger and Crybaby Harrison.

Home vs Bucs Our defense will hold them to 2 TD
Home vs Steelers Nail-biter
Away at Texans Texans: worst run-defense, Rice field day
Home vs Saints They're riddled w/ injuries
Away at Browns (3-7): overrated
Home vs Cincy Playing worse than Cleveland

The only game I'm worried about is Pittsburgh. I expect the Ravens to go at least 5-1 from this point out.
Its the Texans (Pass) defense that is terrible, I think Joe OWNS their secondary, and because of that, Rice rips up some huge runs late in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Call me an idiot of whatever, I predicted Ravens going 11-5 after week 2, but I feel we will win out, or go 5-1 worst case with a loss to Saints. I just have a weird feeling about the end of our year. I believe the Ravens best football is ahead of us. Oh and ontop of that, I see our special teams breaking out coming down the stretch, adding another way to beat teams.

We are 7-3 now, I feel we end up 12-4.... book it. Division champs

I think the only game I'm not worried about is the Bucs, and anything can happen.

Home vs Bucs What you said
Home vs Steelers What you said
Home vs Texans Our corners need to step it up against Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter. Luckily I think we will simply outscore them against their horrid defense
Home vs Saints With the return of Reggie Bush, expect a tough game.
Away vs Browns I think Mattison will figure out a way to stop Hillis this game. They can only score so many touchdowns with such a one-dimensional offense.
Home vs Cincy You never know with these guys. Luckily, I think their defense has simply given up this year and we'll finally expose them without Flacco throwing 4 interceptions.

I agree with you about the bengals. I dont expect another game like the first. Ontop of that, 3 players were just placed on IR, including Rucker and Tank Johnson.
Make no mistake, this will be the biggest game of the year. That being said, lets focus on Tampa, because they can do some damage themselves. They took Atlanta to the wire in Atlanta.
That is true but our special teams helped them stay in it. We gave up 2 big returns one which they took in for a TD the other set them up for a very short field.

The main thing they have going for them defensively is that they are opportunistic. If you don't turn the ball over they will struggle.

With that said, I would take any team that can shut out another at home seriously... even if it is the niners.

Cant wait to hear from the Bucs fan...
Wait no longer.

Most of the more unpleasant smack artists on our unofficial forums (thanks so much Glazers for killing the official forums last May) have found one of your unofficial sites to cause trouble in, so I don't expect them to come around here in any numbers.

That said, don't overlook Tampa Bay. The team is ridiculously young and really shouldn't be able to hang with you. The problem with that is, the team is practically fresh out of college and they still believe in that Rah-rah stuff that old pros laugh at... and our coach is dishing it out, so they're playing above where they should be.

More importantly, don't underestimate them because they haven't won a big game. The record against winning teams is influenced by the fact that the whole NFC West is 1-9 against the NFC South, even Carolina beat one of them, this made them losers for purposes of matchups against any one team in the NFC South. More importantly, the big blowout losses were very early in the season, when the 22 year old quarterback and his three rookie or second year wideouts were still adjusting to the pro game and the O-Line was still in transition from old and slow and consistently bad to younger and inconsistent, when they're hot they're really hot. The running game improved, the defensive line also shot with youth needed half a season to even get a grip and though they're not in your league they're a heck of a lot better than their last shutout.

Look, this is the team that took the Falcons at home to within two feet of a loss, and no one else has come that close this season, with a couple of breaks they could have beaten the Falcons but this is also a team that never blames anyone for anything except behind closed doors.

This team is probably not going to win the NFC South as the Falcons still have TWO games left against 1-9 Carolina, but the #5 wild card is a sweet berth this year as it gets to go play the NFC West champion, and that will make whatever team that is, the favorite to reach the second round of the playoffs. This team knows it can afford a loss to you but a win puts it in a position to win the division to a game each against Atlanta and New Orleans, and this year whoever wins the NFC South has a 50% chance of securing home field advantage-- and that mix still includes the Bucs until you knock them down on Sunday.

The Bucs are still hungry and they are going to try like blazes to beat you to prove to themselves that they CAN win the tough games, going into the biggest five weeks of their schedule. Don't underestimate them, they CAN beat you if you don't bring your A game, if you let yourself be trapped.

As a Bucs fan of course, I hope this happens. Realistically, I don't expect it to.

Hey man its cool, welcome to our forums. Actually i was talking about another bucs fan who came around the other day basically (disrespecting our rules and regulations). That wasnt meant for you at all.

That being said, Im happy you guys have something to cheer about, its been a long time coming and you guys have a young team with alot of potential. I dont think we should look past you guys, but I cant help but feel like we will win this in Baltimore. If we were playing in your house, I'd be alittle more worried.

Anyway, I wish you guys good luck, and if i was a bucs fan, i'd be excited as well. Welcome to our forums.

Home vs Bucs
Not sure, both team play good defense and Tampa is a sneaky team. Their running game worries me since the Ravens can be run on.

Home vs Steelers
always a tough game that can go either way

Away at Texans Texans:
begining of the year I was chalking this up for a Raven loss not now the Ravens will pound the Texans

Home vs Saints
There starting to peak at the right time

Away at Browns:
not sure why someome said overrated on here but there not great but playing much better than 2009 season. Can someone say Hillis.

Home vs Cincy
This is the easiest game to call, Ravens will win and most likely will need to make the playoffs

Wow...I can see going 5 and 1 or 2 and 4 down the stretch. Thats why they play the games.

I could probably name him from a list of five or six notorious forum crashers from out boards, as I posted a link to this site in my Predict-The-Score thread there a day or two ago.

But I'd rather not, I'd hate to offend the guilty party, they're proud of their smacking prowess.

Welcome Xandtar, glad to see the more insane Bucs' fans (except the one) found a different board to cause trouble at.

After the Bills game I was pretty convinced nobody can be overlooked this season. Given the Bucs record and the fact that their a young team with a lot of potential to grow I think we should be ready. I'm almost glad we're playing you guys now as opposed to in a few years when you guys could be an even stronger team. We have things to work on and hopefully we get those things worked out before Sunday. It should be a good game. I do not expect a lop-sided game like we had against Carolina or Denver.

Bucs fan here.

It is something to cheer about.

I was not happy with the Raheem hiring or the Freeman pick. But, I've have to say both have grown and matured and have this franchise heading in the right direction.

I look forward to an exciting game and hopefully a Bucs win.

Good luck to you Ravens fans and may both teams come out of this game with no injuries.

Bucs fan here. Bucs have talent on defense, but they are not good yet, not consistently good at least. But again, be cause they are very young, they are getting better game after game. I think we are capable to get about 150 rushing yards against any team when we play a balanced offense. Point is, will your offense allow us to play balanced or go pass happy.

Against Atlanta, Bucs were down 17-0 very fast. They had to go pass happy for most of the game then. While Freeman is a darn good QB that any franchise would love to have, he cannot yet dominate the game against quality opponents while going pass happy like elite QBs of the league do (Manning, Rivers).

Tl,dr: Ravens need to score fast and often, that is the only way to beat Bucs. You let Bucs hang around, Freeman and Blount will get the job done.

As most of you guys know, we have TB, Pitt, @Hou, NO, @Cle, and Cin coming up

I think we will go 5-1 in these next few games, but I'd be content going with 4-2.

What do you guys think?
Tampa Bay - Win, ravens are more experienced and we play good at home, should be able to stop their running game and put pressure on Freeman to win it, I don't see them being able to score with us

Pittsburgh - Win, Steelers O-line is beat up, we should shut their running game down, we should get lots of pressure on Ben which helps them at times but overall is good for us, their pass defense is weak! Again, I think we can outscore them....tough game though, we always play each other so tough

@Houston - Win, their defense is BAD, they have Andre Johnson which could hurt our secondary but Schaub hasnt been playing that great this year, no one else on their offense has stepped up this year...Ravens should have no problem moving the ball, we have better defense

New Orleans - Loss, unless we get much better at pass defense I see this as a loss, Bress will throw the ball around all day to several different WRs...they also have a strong defense, I can see it being a close game but in the end I don't think our defense has shown they can keep others teams from scoring when needed.

@Cleveland - Win, the Browns have been playing tough, inspired football recently, but this late in the year they are looking at the offseason, their run game is good and their young QB is showing promise but going into the playoffs I think the Ravens will make it out of Cleveland with the W

Cincinnati - Win, the Ravens will finally avenge the loss from earlier this season and end its losing streak to the Bengals, their defense is beat up and is no where near as good as last year, their offense is good at times but they are not consistent, their run game is down from last year, Carson Palmer throws too many bad passes and will get picked off a few times, this time we catch them and score, and Joe doesnt turn it over like before and we win...like we should have the first time

So, unless you say 6-0, you're not a "true" fan? Oh boy, here comes a revolt against you.

Its called being a realist. I would love nothing more than to finish 13-3 and walk right into the playoffs with a bye, but 5-1 and even 4-2 are still very plausible.

I hate statements like the one you just made!

And I hate statements like the one you just made as well. I'm being a realist and I think we will go 6-0. Why on earth would I ever say "I think we are going to lose". No. MY Ravens don't do that, so why should I?

BIG REVOLT HA!

Don't underestimate the Steelers O-line: they have Randle-El and Mendenhall, plus an uncannily clever QB in Rothlisberger. They should definitely be on the lookout for their running game this Sunday.
