I wonder if they'd let you take off say a Hines Ward jersey if you were a Steelers fan?

Yea, I never got that either. Last time I was in the ER was in a robe and boxer briefs anyway.

Ha, that thing would have been cutoff there and probably rolled around in the spewing gas and then lit. Wow, was that too aggressive?

The adrenaline rush and shock can make you walk around even if you are critically injured--I've seen someone walk on a broken femur after an accident.
That makes sense. I was thinking about neck injuries that could become catastrophic, but adrenaline makes sense.

I guess that's why they took me to Bayview shock trauma, even though, relatively, I was fine.

Nope. I agree. They'd probably cut it off as I was screaming, "Wait, I was just a witness!!!" haha

By-the-way, do you know why the airbag burns and cuts the crap out of you?

The propellant used to cause the "explosion"

Couple years ago when we had the Christmas game, my whole family went to the game. This car blew by us at route 40 and missed the turn on to 795 and ended up on its roof, wheels were still spinning when we got there . Somehow the driver got out and was wandering around on the 795 ramp. Of course we stopped, along with being drunk the guy had a broken arm and leg and he was dazed, pure adrenaline and alcohol is what kept him going. It was all my husband, who is a big guy, could do to get him to sit on the guard rail.

I was told it's because they pack the bag in fine glass to keep it from sticking to its self. Which, always bothered me as to why it's not dangerous to our eyes.

I've heard that same scenario countless times with drunk drivers.

I live in mortal fear of airbags since I am latex allergic, if the crash doesn't kill me the anaphylaxis will. I think the newer airbags may be nylon instead of latex now.
Airbags can leave some serious burns.

I had that all the time. Every time I thought this would be the time I suffocate to death.

Is it me or has this thread become an all-about-injuries thread? If I were you I'd be thinking "Drunk drivers? Auto crashes? What about my finger!?!"

both honestly, unless its at a party
You lost me there. I would think a party full of drunks is worse for someone who hate drunks.

Being a DD can be trying at times. Although, I may get to do it for "Ladies Night Out" here soon.

Fresh batteries in the video camera: Check!

Some of the greatest world achievements in human history were achieved while intoxicated, Ulysses S Grant won the Civil War while intoxicated, a lot of people said that his alcoholism made him a better field commander

Also pertaining to Wardy, the United States Marine Corps was founded at Tun Tavern, Philly.

(here's a Cracked.com article about 5 great alcohol related events in history)

That's my random informational rant of the day, enjoy.

Good idea. I'll do that tonight, thanks. I just got the shot a few weeks ago for having scratched my cornea.
I assume that had something to do with inserting contact lenses?
