It's true, I don't mean to say that Favre is playing well by any means. But at some point there has to be blame placed on how poor the defense is performing as well, Childress never seemed to acknowledge that in his press conferences.

The Vikings are pathetic. I called it from a mile away that they would take a huge drop from last year to this year and people thought I was crazy.

Isn't it funny how everyone was picking the Cowboys or Vikings to be in the Super Bowl, but now 11 weeks into the season, they're both 3-7 and they're the only two teams to switch HCs during the course of the season so far?

I didn't necessarily expect them to end up firing Chili though. But now I'm really not surprised. Favre is doing awful this year, but he's Favre so they have to try and cover his [i]<butt>[/i] somehow.

I don't think he tarnished his legacy, but I agree he messed up by not retiring this past offseason.
