I said if he becomes a liability... right now he is still an asset to us and is still making unbelievable catches. He's an invaluable member of our offense. I was just responding to some comments about his age.

I understand that, but I a still curious as to "when does he become a liability?" I know that right now he is an asset. Its the liability part that I am a little confused about/

I don't know how to explain this b/c I'm not saying he'll become one, others have stated that in this thread. It's just a fact of nature that peoples' bodies deteriorate when they get older. I do not know when Mason plans to retire but given his driven personality I foresee him sticking around until he can no longer produce. Does this mean he'll become a liability at some point? Maybe, but it's not a definite yes or no.

I dont subscribe to that theory, Cams needs to win games, not make people happy. Those people should be concentrating on winning games and not how many times they get the ball, if theyre not then theyre not the right people.

Well of course games need to be won,but players still want to be big contributers and want to feel like they did something big to contribute to the win.

Yes there is happiness after a game is won,but there's always that thought of what could I have did or done to put points on the board.

I don't know about some of these players, but I would atleast want to feel like I'm earning the money I'm making.

Well think about it. Housh has had some 1000 yard seasons playinf vs #1/#2 corners at cincy. Then he went to the seahawks. who had a terrible O last year. however he still managed to get 991 yards. And now he's going against #3 and #4 corners? those corners CANT stop housh man, just bust out the 3 and 4 WR sets and throw to Housh, game over. We have too many weapons to not be scoring 30+ points/game

As for his TD in the Panthers game:(1)the pass was badly under thrown;(2)he adjusted to it and slowed up to catch the ball;(3)he held on to it even though the defender was trying to strip it from him; (4) he fought his way into the endzone.

It was? I can see where it was maybe a yard or two underthrown, maybe, but badly?

I actually thought Mase at 36 would have lost his effectiveness, but I was wrong. He must share Ray's DNA, because until he shows that he cant do it anymore, I just cant bet against him.

I agree that Housh is bigger, stronger (blocking) and maybe even faster (reminds me of Hines Ward). But Mase gets open against anybody consistently and he has hands of glue. Cant say that about Housh yet.

Have you watched TJ in his career? Hes been able to get open against any defense and has had hands of glue.
