Oddly enough but I believe so, I re-watched the Jets game the other day and was shocked at how often the ball was thrown his way.
I guess because the run game got nowhere and Houshmandzadeh was matched against Kyle Wilson most of the game.

Yeah he had his David Tyree Moment and sure he draws PI but other than that, what else has he done? Nothing.
Well if those PI calls he drew didnt happen, he would have had some good catches and that my friend, is something

People keep acting like TJ is a nobody. What happens if Mason goes down? Housh would be the perfect person to step in for him. Stallworth is not known at all for making tough catches.

While I've always been a Housh defender, I have noticed a disturbing trend the last couple of weeks. He isn't fighting nearly as hard for the ball anymore. I know Flacco didn't throw him a great ball, but it looked like he almost dogged it for the throw.

I think hes lost his fire for playing football. Or at least for playing with the Ravens. His situation is very reminiscent of the Moss situation.

He did win us the game against Pit, but at this point I wish we hadn't signed him. I much rather see what Reed could do.

If you are talking about the pass that Housh was not able to pull in during the Atl game I would like for you to go out with a friend and run some slant or corner routes. Have your friend throw the ball behind you and see if you can change to the opposite direction while running full speed and make the catch. Then you will see how Housh made a really bad pass look like it should have been a completion.

Yea I agree with you. During the game I was a bit shocked by the knocking on Housh for missing that catch. The ball was horribly thrown and Housh made an effort to be just that close to making a play. But people only see if he tried harder he could've caught that.

Yeah, you have to lead a guy and throw the ball to where he is going and not to where he was coming from.

I could be wrong but wasn't there a guy in Joe's face on that play or did he just miss the throw?

T.J is a great WR we are lucky to have him its amazing hes our #3 just shows you our depth. We should look to him more on 3rd down if anything hes very sure handed. I don't understand all these posts about him though, He gets more attention on these forums then Boldin.

I'm sure there was and that is probably the reason for the bad ball.

I like Housh a lot. He has done more than just that catch against the Steelers. I know some of you have referenced the PI's he has drawn, and he has also made some big grabs for 1st downs. Having him as a 3rd receiver makes it that much easier for one of the wideouts to be open.

Dickson and Pitta no. 1 and 2 TE. Heap won't be around forever.

It's a luxury that New England is taking advantage of, very early

Houshmandzadeh sure played well against the Panthers, didn't he? It may well have been his best performance in purple.

Nothing beats grabbing the game winner against Pitt, IMO.

What should he do to prepare for the Buccaneers' D-line?

Let our Oline handle them...... ;)

I'd still say he performed better against the Steelers. He caught more balls and his TD grab was more difficult and it won the game.

I'm still a believer in Housh. Yeah, I get disappointed when he talks, but when he gets involved, he's a help. I'm still not buying into this "drops too many passes" crap. That was like one or two in Cincy, and it's pretty evident that some people just haven't gotten over it yet.

Some people say were stacked at WR. Well it's partly because we have Housh. He's also a really good #3 when utilized.

Housh had 991 yards last season playing for the seahawks.....he's a dam good receiver, Flacco just needed time to get used to Housh, as Housh isn't really like any other receiver in the league. He doesn't have blazing speed, his footwork is good but not on Mason's level, he just gets open somehow, and makes the tough catches. He dropped a few vs cincy cuz he hadn't played in a while, he's done a great job as of recently, and I bet you him and Joe will be best friends come the latter part of the season. We dont have a #3 receiver we have 3 #1 receivers, plus a burner in Stallworth, our receiving core is STACKED.

Houshmandzadeh was BIG in the Jets game, on top of his receptions he drew PI and set up our only TD. Then, he shows up big time in the Steelers game. Now the Panthers game. I like him, even if he isn't lighting it up every game.

Housh did play well, and if Cam had any sort of brain in his head, he would have put him in there more than Mason, since he was dropping ball, with his broken finger and all.

He gives the Ravens a #3 like we have never had. He makes the most of all of his catches and the only bad game he had was the cincy game. As I've been saying all year he is the perfect backup if Mason ever cant play.

http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/TJ-Houshmandzadeh-says-he-likes-playing-for-Ravens-wants-to-come-back.html

TJ talks about how he likes playing in baltimore, his family like it here and what some of the factors would be for him staying or going somewhere else. I actually hope he starts for us next year, he could be a good part of the team going forward. On a side note, I think everybody can relate to his "you like her but she may not like you" metaphor :P

Something tells me we won't see Housh next year. I don't think the Ravens will re-sign him.
Well we have Mason for one more year, but I really would like to keep Housh. He'll probably get some unmatchable offer from another team though.

I wouldn't mind it. Him, Q and maybe a stud rookie WR can hold it down if Mason retires. Housh does add some vertical threat to this offense :P
