Sure, everyone wants the team to be 9-0 right now, but we aren't a bad team at all. The defense may not be as good as it once was but it is still one of the better defenses in the league.

It wasn't like we got blown out against the Falcons anyway, we had a short week and we had to travel. Although it would have been nice to have won every game, we haven't and we have to move on. Hopefully we can string a few wins together and go into the playoffs with a full head of steam.

Its also funny that we go 6-2 in the first half of the season (arguably, the tougher half) and now "fans" like you are saying it'll be near impossible for us to g 6-2 or 5-3 again this half.....or, in your pathetic estimation, 4-4.... What are YOU smoking?

Great post. Right on the money imo.
I voted no in the poll. I didn't have high expectations coming in. I knew we had defense coaching problems and for some reason the Ravens can't find a decent O line coach, and the head guy just watches all the softness going on, and he's proud. We have the talent PLAYER wise but it's wasted again.

So because the Ravens' o-line struggled Thursday night, every 4-3 team they'll face will be able to bring pressure like the Falcons can?

- No-huddle offense tire out most d-lines.

- Ravens WR do get seperation. All I can tell you is that you're wrong if you don't think so.

- I agree about the front rarely getting pressure but that's been a problem for basically three seasons now.

As proof by Buffalo taking us to the wire at home. Any team can beat us this season. But the question is whether or not we can find ways to win here on out. No game is a given on our schedule.

I feel pretty good coming down the stretch right now. I like our schedule.

No, if anything, the play of the pass defene, with Washington and Webb coming off ACL injuries and Foxworth gone so early, has been a surprise. So we go beaten by the QB of "The best team in the NFC". Who, BTW, was basically matched by our own QB. What does surprise me is coughing up 2 fourth quarter leads, but with Flacco's briliant play since game 2 and with Ed Reed getting back into the fold, we're poised for a big second half. This is the best start we've had under Joe and Harbs. Two of the teams we lost to are top five in the NFL, and the third was miserable - short week, tough opponent on their field (of course, Cincy will be tough until Joe conquers the cover-2) - sound familiar? We're undefeated at home, and lost to two of the best home teams in all of the NFL, the Patriots and Falcons (both losses coming becuase of a stalling offense and BIG TIME defensive gaffes at the end of the game).

You came in here and said we'd be lucky to end 10-6, when we're currently FIRST in the AFCN, have 6 wins and barely lost a tight game, off short rest, in a dome...away!
