Well, of course, if the Steelers were running away with the division or the Ravens were throwing up goose eggs, then we'd want a NE loss. So, I shouldn't have said never ever. But, as you stated, tha Ravens would prefer a NE win in this case.

I hate the Patriots with a passion but I will be the first one to admit when they came back and beat the Ravens in overtime a month ago in Foxborough all that hate got pushed aside and I actually god forbid liked the Patriots there for about 5 minutes or so ughhhh...

Well after examining both the Steelers & Patriots remaining schedule, I am rooting for the Patriots.... oh wait I was going to do that anyway

If I can be serious... yes it would make things easier on us if the Patriots can win on Sunday Night. The Patriots remaining schedule after Pittsburgh looks like this:

@ Colts
@ Lions
Vs. Jets
@ Bears
vs Packers
@ Bills
vs Miami

Like someone mentioned, the Patriots can lose another week, and looking at their schedule it is very possible. So yeah I'd much rather take the chances of the Patriots beating Pittsburgh rather Pittsburgh win and hope Buffalo, Oakland and we sweep Pittsburgh which is not a guarantee.

Guess I'll be wearing my Brady Jersey on Sunday.

Actually yes I do, 2 to be exact. 1 is old and tore but the other is the SB 42 Jersey from a few years ago. Patriots are my 2nd Favorite team just that I don't root for them when they play the Ravens...

Well that's... interesting.

I don't have a problem rooting for the Patriots. I just can't muster the feelings that everyone else seems to have. Sure, I hate all teams that aren't Baltimore to some degree, but I don't have any special abhorrence for New England.

So on Sunday, we are now in the unenviable position of rooting for the Pats. Ewwww! Some tips that might help you get through it.

1. If you indulge in any alcoholic beverage, stock up.
2. Squint your eyes, really, really tight. Through this reduced vision, you might be able to pretend you are rooting on the Bills to get their first win.
3. Tell yourself you are not really rooting FOR the Pats, but AGAINST the Steelers.
4. Keep repeating to yourself "it's only for 3 hours, it's only for 3 hours"
5. Just suck it up and take one for the team.

Yeah, sometimes it is tough to be a Ravens' fan. Sunday night is one of those times.
