Either that or we'll have to get him facemasked on the first play of every game.<br /><br />If Suggs plays like that all the time he'll be my favorite player in the league.<br />
Are you serious? He has 29 pass deflections since 2006; that's nearly as much as our starting CBs have. It's also a reflection of his role on this team. He's never going to put up monster numbers as long as we use him the way we do, but that certainly does not mean that he isn't playing on a Pro Bowl level.

Right, labeling him as a pure pass rushing OLB is WRONG! He's by far one of the most versatile players in the league

Really? Did I say the guy sucks? No! I said he played great an the end of the game. I'm talking about him rushing the passer because he wasn't stopped at all. Is that a usual occurrence for him? He could throw off a block any time but he only gets allowed to once a game? He was on fire in the 4th quarter and it doesn't have to do with the numbers he put up. He was playing at a HOF level those final minutes.

Ya I understand what you meant in the earlier post, but you also have to realize that Suggs hasnt been asked to pass rush as many times as he did against the Falcons in a single game.

And also know that Fly and some guys including myself have been attempting to "enlighten" other posters on Suggs' value for an entire year.

While Kindle looks good on paper, I seriously doubt that he will play this year. Who knows how durable he will be after his concussion. Honestly, I would have been much happier if we had stayed in the 1st round and drafted a CB. Dickson may not be a factor yet, even though he has looked great when Flacco throws him the ball. Cody may someday be Gregg's replacement, but he looks worn out after 1 play. He has a size advantage but lacks in stamina and endurance.

FYI, Kindle has already been ruled out for 2010. When he signed his contract he was placed on the Reserve Non-Football Injury list. We can only hope that he'll be ready for us to utilize in 2011. Bright side will be that we'll have yet another rookie to be excited about.

I disagree. I saw him right in the middle of the action Thursday night and he wasn't runing to the sideline after every play. I doubt the team would have moved him up on the depth chart if he was out of shape as you claim.

After that dope facemask call which obviously should've offset you could tell he was pissed
werent you, just about lost my voice , i was sooo <deleted> pissed.

the refs need to be fined for making bad calls, let alone GAME CHANGING CALLS, just like the players getting fined for illegal hits. maybe the refs will think twice if that happens.

ITS LIKE LAST SEASON ALL OVER AGAIN

I know you didnt say he sucks, but the way you worded that made it sound as if thursday night was the first time in a while that you saw him play well.

And to answer your question, no I wouldnt say that him dominating the way he did is the norm, because he really isnt asked to rush nearly as often as other guys. However he is almost always in the backfield when he is sent in; sometimes he gets the sack, sometimes he just gets a 'hurry', but he is always producing pressure when asked to.
In fact, he just spoke about that before the game a few days ago, he was saying how he wants to convert more of those 'hurries' into sacks.
