How Are We Gonna End Up Now ..

Somewhere between 10-6 and 11-5 I think. Playing Pittsburgh, our hated rivals in Cincy, traveling to Houston, playing the Saints, too many tough games for me to say we'll win them all.

Do you guys realize that 6-3 isn't bad at all? At worst you'll be 11-5 at the end of the year. That should be a playoff spot.

I remember being pissed about losing to the Colts and Giants in 2007. We ended up 12-4 and went the the SB. Last night was a good game. You guys fell short and simply didn't play well enough to win. But I wouldn't say you're going down hill. Heck, look what happened to the Pats last week. It's a parity league and anyone can beat anyone on any given Sunday. Relax my friends, you will be just fine. ;)

Edit - "just fine" until we whoop your tails in the playoffs that is. :P

Yeah I think we'll be alright too, but since were neck and neck with you guys, one loss could be really really costly at the end of the season. That's why I'm uptight. The Ravens absolutely need at least one home playoff game because we've already had two chances to win the SB while playing all our PS games on the road and didn't get it done either time.

We're 2-3 on the road so far, which is one area where we really haven't improved much since last year. Trust me, I strongly believe we'll be in the playoffs, but that doesn't cut it anymore.

We play the Buccaneers, Steelers, Saints and Bengals at home. We play the Panthers, Texans and Browns away. The Steelers game is extremely important, if we lose that one we might end up losing the division at 12-4, depending on whether the Steelers win the rest of their division games.

Drew Brees will assassinate this defense. Hopefully we improve by that time, or the game could get real ugly.
Idk, they're offense has been awfully inconsistent this year and if this is another interception after interception game for Brees, we win no questions asked.

But they will have Bush back by then.

Well, if the Ravens have that same attitude, then you're all set!

My original prediction was 12-4. Atlanta was one of the games I had us losing, as was the NE game. The Bengal game was a toss-up in Week 2. So as of right now....I'm still good with the 12-4 I thought at the beginning. My last loss came at the hands of the either the Steelers or Texans. Both toss-up games to me.

The only games I potentially see the Steelers losing the rest of the season are either against the Pats this Sunday, at Baltimore of course in 3 weeks, or at home against the Jets December 19th. The Steelers other 5 remaining games are at home against Oakland,Cincinnati, and Carolina, and on the road at Buffalo and at Cleveland. Looking at all 5 of those games while any team can win any given Sunday I like the Steelers chances of walking away with a W in anyone of those games. They most likely will be favored in everyone of those games as well.

I think 11-5 could win the AFC this season, this loss hurts but we're still right at the front of the pack. We know Pittsburgh or New England will lose this week, Indianapolis is banged up and looks the weakest it has in recent memory, NYJ is showing signs of weakness and comes up against a Browns team playing well.

I think one team on the rise that must be respected if the Titans. Well coached, excellent running game, some real deep threats and a fine defence. Don't be surprised if they make a late season surge, we need to keep winning games.

Titans are a pretty good team except their problem is simple I just do not think they are going to win with Vince Young at Quarterback. He still has not proven yet at least not to me anyway that he can win games with his arm when Chris Johnson gets shutdown and cannot carry that team running the ball. That ultimately will be the Titans downfall when all is said and done...

Valid point. They definitely have playoff talent, and have real game breakers at the skill positions, plus you know Jeff Fisher is going to prepare them well.

To be honest, I think the Steelers are the best team in the NFL and best chance of winning it all. Best defence, experience of winning it all, very good skill players. I think their biggest weaknesses is Bruce Ariens to be honest. Pains me to say, but yeah, my honest thoughts so far.

Can't wait for our full strength rematch! Reed and Roethlisberger returned, its on!!!

Im with you Arians bonehead playcalling along with Tomlin's brain fart ability to challenge critical plays and manage the clock at key times is one of the few things that can hold this Steelers team back from winning it all this year. Plus, not to mention that Jeff Reed is now a huge huge concern on this Steelers team. He has missed way too many kicks late in games so far this season and could very well costs the Steelers big time in the playoffs or before then if he continues down this road. He has got to start hitting kicks like the one he missed the other night in Cincinnati from 45-46 yards which could have and probably would have iced the game. Reed continually missing kicks like that a lot so far this season is becoming completely inexcusable and needs to improve and improve fast or the Steelers are going to be in big trouble...

We'll beat Carolina, although they'll start off hot and give us minor heart attacks. Barely escape TB in the 4th with a Freeman pick. We'll beat Pitt at our house on prime time with our last drive, then force a Ben sack on 3rd and 10. Beat Houston and shut down Andre as Foster racks up 100+ yards with two TD's. Lose to NO in the 4th by a Brees TD after blowing a 7 point lead with 5 minutes left since they'll have all of their 3 timeouts then pass three times on a three and out then punt the ball because Cam is a straight up idiot. Beat the Browns badly and lose to the Bengals once again.

So I'm looking at 11-5, which is not what I wanted this year.

This team is so predictable lol.

I think I said 12-4, so I'm still holding out hope for that........ (crosses fingers)
I think 12-4 is pretty optimistic but it'd be amazing if they finished with that record.

I agree....just stating what I had originally said/hoped for.

Me "holding out hope" is not too realistic, but I can certainly see 11-5

only competition coming up in these last games for b-more are houston and new orleans.
You mean the same Houston team that is more up and down then a yo-yo that Houston team?? So the Texans are going to be just as tough if not tougher competition then the Steelers with the AFC North Title on the line and potentially a bye week and homefield advantage??

Haha yea sure we all know those Houston Texans have had that huge playoff resume since coming back into the league in 2002 and all those Lombardi Trophy's as well in their case at Reliant Stadium...

Why would that matter? They've been around long enough to go deep into the playoffs, yet haven't.

They have. Not sure why they're not better though. Although, they' do play in a competitive division.

Not good enough to make the playoffs or have consecutive winning seasons...The Steelers since the Texans have came into the league in 2002 have played in 3 AFC Championship games and won 2 Super Bowls...You sir fail...
