I'm already about as calm as it can get. I don't get why people can't accept that this was a tough game. Short week , no time to practice plus we had to travel to a tough home team.

This morning we are atop the AFC and now we are "not going to win anything". Guys have you seen the other teams? They are all like us, they have great games, good games and bad games. We just need to keep on playing.

I admit it, even I posted in a rage thread lol; even though we played extremely well for the most part. Thanks for this thread.

3/3 red zone +1
6/11 3rd down isn't that bad concerning its a low number.

They had 10 more minutes to play than we did, and had +2 turnovers to our 0.
BTime of Possession 24:51 FTime of Possession 35:09

Pretty hard to win for any team with those key stats, yet we almost won lol. Now, that would be embarrassing for Atlanta.

People can keep voting my post down if they want but there is no point to this thread that the 50 other new threads started after this game couldn't provide.

Yep all the threads created after the game could be made into one giant super thread. The mods will work overtime to get things cleaned up.

It was a close loss to a good Falcons squad in a tough environment on national television. Not only that, it was a loss to an NFC opponent, which inherently has far less of an implication in the playoff picture than a loss to an AFC team, especially a common opponent.

This is not the end of the world for the Ravens, and we Ravens fans shouldn't be taking it that way. Yes, it was disappointing to lose the way the final minute unfolded, but things happen. This team played with a deficit all game and came back to nearly win it with only a minute left; that's the mark of a championship-caliber team, as adversity is the one factor that separates contenders from pretenders.

Though the Ravens didn't finish the job, credit goes to the Falcons for finding a way to win in the end, regardless of any perceived errors in officiating. The fact that the Ravens have won games like this on multiple occasions this season and were close to adding one more notch under their belt, is a testament to the team's toughness.

This is a good Ravens squad that can hang with the best. At 6-3, there are still many more games to be played before this team's final chapter is written. 7 games is all that stands between now and the postseason and the team can do no worse than 6-10 and no better than 13-3. That's much better than the Bills, who can do no better than 8-8.

I keep wanting to be really upset about this game, but I cant find myself getting there. I am actually really proud of how this team came back and almost won against a good team on the road. IF not for some questionable officiating and a few unfortunate defensive shortcomings the ravens would have made a remarkable 4th quarter comeback win.

I am not happy about the turnovers and we need to get some stops on 3rd down, but Joe led us back to take the lead when it mattered. THAT MEANS A LOT. I am not happy that our defense couldnt hold a lead when it mattered, but we made some huge stops in the 2nd half to give us a chance to take the lead.

If the Ravens can put it all together in the playoffs this team will win the Super Bowl.

Haha Franny, I always end up asking you why you get to be so calm and I get to sit here and stew all night after big losses :). But I mean, it's not like the Ravens played with a defecit all game long because the NFL said they would, but because of their own mistakes and not playing up to their ability. So I just can't give them props for 'rising to the occasion' at the latest possible time they could just to make it close. It just gets old after awhile to watch them come out flat all game and then decide they want to play when it's too late.

If it wasnt for an absolutely horrendus series of bad defense play calls on the final drive, we complete an incredible comeback win on the road against the top nfc team. How can u call a play that leaves josh wilson 1on1 witg roddy white and no safety help?

He is the worst. I couldn't believe the crazy stuff he was saying about Ryan. At one point he compared him to a cross between Manning and Brady lol. He was swinging from his you-know-whats all game. Amazing that man still has a job in broadcasting.

I was getting quite sick of "I'm going to put that throw by Ryan on my DVD", "That throw will look great on the DVD" and "That throw will be left off the DVD".

What are you talking about?
