What other players did you mention? I just have trouble understanding how Ozzie Newsome is a genius to some (he really is a great GM) but the lack of depth or talent at a position never gets blamed on him or the coaching staff but that the player just doesn't have what it takes to start in the NFL and it's the player that gets harassed.

Can we compromise with a "the players and Mattison are sucking?"

I don't see how Ozzie can take blame. If it wasn't for him and the rest of the FO, the offense would be still terrible and we'd still be seeing games like we saw in '03, '04 and '05.

I thought we were going to draft a Corner in 2008,2009,2010.....not even a first rounder necessarily, just a freaking corner with an ounce of talent!

They drafted Webb. He has talent and we've seen him flash it but we've seen has also struggled, partly because the only good pass rusher on the team is Suggs.

I just feel Webb hasn't been as physical as he was. Worried about his knee? Probably so.

Sounds fine to me. Truth is Mattison has his faults too. We're basically just debating how much of the fault he deserves. This whole defense can just kiss my *** right now. And I mean that, I'm not just saying it because I'm mad over this loss. I actually saw it coming. I got the same feeling tonight that I got last year against Minny and against PIT and TEN a couple years ago. I knew our defense woudn't get it done. They have failed us AGAIN.

Well we are all passionate about the team, we all just have different opinions on what direction the team should go from every possible angle. It's kinda like Veterans day. Some may support isolationalism and avoiding war over getting involved in foreign affairs to better a country that maybe considered morally unsound by our standards and vice versa but at the end of the day we love our troops and we love this country. We all love the Ravens....just get frustrated sometimes.

If the offense would of showed up at all in the first half there would be no such thread. The offense puts together a 60 minute game like the Falcons did and we win that game.

Exactly, the offense was basically invisible for the entire first half, Flacco was 5/8 with 50 yards at half while Rice had 5 for 30 yards, 80 yards in a half of offense is not going to put you in a good position to win the game, periood. The drive after we scored was mind-boggling because we had moved the ball on the ground for basically the entire scoring drive and then they come out and don't run the ball once?

Yeah, after you see the other receivers drop key passes, you have to shift the backup to White. I understand that we don't have the talent we used to have on defense, but this play calling is ridiculous at times, on both sides of the ball..

There is a bit of validity in the complaints this week I think. Cam now has a tendency to move away from Rice when he is running well, and Mattison did not dial up plays to help poor Wilson. Their other receivers were not playing well at all. Dropped balls, near fumbles. Yet, we get Wilson one-on-one with White at the very end of the game. C'mon man, you gotta see that right? I'm not a bash the coaches guy, and I agree that we got outplayed, but we also got outschemed big time

The Ravens are a 6-3 team, which prior to last night, was the best record in the league. In their three losses, they've lost by a combined 13 points; which to me, says they're a one of the better teams in the league.

How exactly do you know the Ravens "will not survive this defeat this year" or that they won't make the play-offs? What evidence do you have to make that make that claim? This is at least the second time you've come here with your opinionated comments. Frankly, no one here gives a damn what you have to say.

Those kind of defeats are demoralizing and eat at the inner core of a team. You can stick your chest out all you want but remember this post at the end of the season. We both may end up getting beat out by the Browns. Check out our site its full of posts by Ravens fans about the team-most of which are true. At least I will admit it.
