Patriots 6th? I don't think that'll last long. The way the Jets have played the last two weeks they could miss the wildcard. And you can FORGET about the Bears making it, because if Cutler gets sacked one more time... well... there won't BE a Cutler.

Can't believe the Rams could make the playoffs.

I really believe the winner of the AFC North whether it's the Ravens or the Steelers will be the number 1 seed in the AFC come playoff time. This is a huge huge week in my opinion for both the Steelers and the Ravens because the Steelers I believe are finishing up their toughest 4 game stretch of the season Sunday playing the Patriots at Heinz Field. While the Ravens have to play a very tough game in Atlanta on a short week Thursday night where Matt Ryan and the Falcons are something like 17-1 in the Dome since he has been their starting QB since 2008. Even though the Steelers still do have to play in Baltimore on that Sunday night the first week in December I still believe their schedule the last 7 games after this week with the Patriots is still not as tough as the Ravens.

The Steelers play 4 of their final 7 games at Heinz Field and while they do still have to play the Jets the game is in Pittsburgh while the Ravens have a brutal 3 game stretch in early December having to play the Steelers,at Houston, and the Saints. The Steelers still have teams like Oakland who I know is improved a lot but I still dont think they win 2 years in a row in Pittsburgh, Buffalo who has yet to win a game this year,Carolina who is a complete mess now and they get the Bengals at home again as well who they completely dominated last night if not for that complete 4th quarter hiccup they had.

The Ravens can very well get the number 1 seed if they win out and beat the Steelers in 3 weeks in Baltimore, but the Ravens dont have control over who they can get the 1 seed over in the East because they split with both the Pats and Jets. The Steelers still have a chance to beat both of those teams both of who they get at home at Heinz Field and they can win the head to head tiebraker over them should they beat them both so they dont have to worry about rooting for one or the other in terms of who they want to win the division. I still say though no matter what happens this week the winner of that game in Baltimore on December 5th takes the North and most likely takes the # 1 seed in the AFC...

+1

It may be homer-ish to say... but I think the AFC Super Bowl representative will be either the Ravens or the Steelers. Whoever wins Week 13 - Ravens or Steelers - may very well be #1 seed in the AFC.

Steelers - Ravens, AFCCG - ain't it great! :26:

As much as I love me some "Ravens v. Steelers" games; I'd like to have the Jets come to M&T, so we can beat them in our backyard this time around. Maybe that'd shut them up. Two AFCCGs losses in back-to-back seasons. Then again, maybe I'd like them to miss out on the playoffs altogether.

And I believe it was written into NFL scriptures, that when the Steelers & Ravens meet in December; it always has playoff implications. As much as it pains me to say it, and as much as I dislike a divisional foe, I have to respect them. Ravens without Steelers, or vice-versa -- football would just be... disappointing to say the least.

I really believe the AFC Super Bowl representative will either be the Ravens or the Steelers. That game on December 5th Sunday night in Baltimore is so huge in terms of who is going to win this division and who could potentially have the homefield advantage should these two teams meet once again in the AFC Championship Game which I think is ultimately going to happen...These two teams right now just look like the most consistent teams in football aside from maybe the Giants,Falcons, and maybe the Jets and Pats. I dont think the Colts or Pats make it to the Super Bowl out of the AFC this year. They both just have too many injuries and both teams are just not solid enough on defense despite having Brady and Manning as their QBs. It will not be enough to carry either of those teams to Dallas. Im just flat out not sold on the Jets and I think they have taken a huge step back over the last few weeks looking very beatable in Denver and Detroit even though they did win both of these games they struggled a great deal and then got shutout at home by the Packers after having 2 weeks to prepare for them. I dont think the Jets are as good as everybody thinks they are and it wont surprise me one bit if the Browns pull off another upset this week and knock off big mouth Rex Ryan's team...
