You are SO right!

I've never seen a week this close:

Out of 14 games, FIVE favorites are favored by 1.5 points or less.

Out of 14 games, NINE favorites are favored by 3 points or less.

Only one game is more than a TD favorite - the Giants by 14 over the (reeling) Cowboys.

This week will separate the men (ladies) from the boys (girls) - parentheses for Darklight

If anyone gets 10+ games right this week, I'lll buy them a beer...

If you asked me at the start of the season, I'd pin this as a loss.

But as of how we've been playing recently, compared to how Atlanta has been playing, I can see the Ravens picking up a win. It's still a tough pick though, I can envision us losing by a fumble or a last second FG by Atlanta. But I chalked those reasons up for a loss against Pittsburgh and the Jets earlier this season and look how those turned out.

I'm picking the Ravens.

It's not just the fact that we are Ravens fans so it's hard to pick against them, it's because we learn so much more information about the Ravens games, that we become bias.
I almost picked the Falcons, but from what I know of the Ravens, we should have won, so I picked us to win.
In fact I generally feel like that towards our entire division since I follow them more closely than most other teams.
Like I said before, my girlfriend doesn't follow other teams that much, but she loves the Ravens and likes to watch football, but she is consistently around 9 correct picks a week just by going with her gut or intuition without really knowing the details of any team.
It's a 50/50 thing, and sometimes too much information is a bad thing.

It's not only a matter of being biased. It's a matter of being a fan of the Ravens. You pick them no matter what. You pick a injured-ridden Ravens team over a healthy undefeated Colts team. It's a matter of fandom principle.

I checked after the first sets of games and I was atop the picks. Then I rattled off 5 straight losses. All the afternoon games and night game. But somehow I still moved up spots in the rankings. Now at #15. Not bad for somebody who missed a full week of picks. Still lots of time left.
