Good Luck Ravens

8 posts in this topic

I would rather much see you take the division than the Steelers, just because I respect the Ravens a lot more. Our season is over, I said it was three weeks ago or so. I'm very sick and don't know what other way to put it, to lose the game that way, it just kills. That's the story of this season. I wouldn't be ashamed losing to the Bengals earlier in the year, they aren't THAT bad. They just can't put a full game together. I'm not giving up on the Bengals by any means but I am giving up on this season. Tonight was a heart breaker, the entire season has been a heart breaker. So, as I mentioned above, go take the AFC North!

Your team broke my heart today. A Steeler loss would have been sweet.

Better luck next year I guess.

We lost by 6 points... Our field goal kicker (Who is suppose to be better) missed two field goals resulting in 6 points lost that we could of had. Also, fumbling the opening kickoff, giving them any easy 7 points and then the blocked punt resulting in a field goal. We just found a way to give the game away tonight.

From what they briefly showed on replay, Hines Ward did NOT score that TD on third down. Thats arguably four points off the Steelers board. Cant really account for two Bengals missed field goals and ST play. Steelers still win unfortunately.

We were all cheering for the Bengals, oddly enough, and the Steelers shouldn't be happy with their last few wins, they actually were better without you know who.
The Bengals finally woke up, but too late, and the last drive was as if I was watching a game I really cared about, which is only a Ravens game.
Maybe it's selfish to want the Bengals win in order to help out the Ravens, but it appears coach Lewis isn't getting the job done, and that does hit close to home.
The play on 4th down was a bad call, Carson should have gone to someone more familiar or at least a more assured receiver, and before that, I wanted to see them run it in the red zone, especially before the penalty.
While it appears the Bengals began to see the light, they couldn't finish.
And going so far behind against the Steelers early becomes a time issue, not a talent issue.
I would also question whether Palmer wants to play anymore, he might be done, or at least a good back up.
It seems as if Palmer is playing like his daughter was Laura Palmer. (get it?)

If not, go rent the Twin Peaks series.
Good Luck and thanks for the great posts from a Bengals fan.
We all have a lot of respect for you and the Bengals.

P.S. You might want to become a Browns fan, things are looking up.
