That the first game where Rice finally had running room in the passing game occurred in Stallworth's first game back.

I've been saying for awhile that just his presence on the field will make a difference. Similar to Randy Moss. Stallworth clearly took the top off the defense and kept the Dolphins on their heals.

I can't wait to see the effect he will have once he starts making long receptions and isn't just a decoy.

Hm, I didn't think about that. I was pretty disappointed with Stalls getting no stats, but you could be right in that regard. Cam also seemed to have more WR Sub packages in there, it could get really interesting this week.

I have no facts to back this up but I don't think Stallworth was on the field on most of Rice's catch and runs. If he did, great, but I'm not going to make the assessment that his presence was what helped Rice based on one game.

On top of that, the Dolphins chose not spy Rice as other teams have done this season and Karlos Dansby even admitted that they didn't in his post-game comments.

Stallworth was out there a lot. Can't say for certain he was playing on each Rice catch but I think its safe to say he was out for most. Also, the Dolphins may have chosen not to spy Rice because they wanted to devote more players to covering our 3 and 4 reciever sets.

You might be right. We'll see if Rice continues to have as much room as he had yesterday in the coming weeks.
