Al Harris Released

8 posts in this topic

Al Harris is expected to be released by the Packers today. Because of the emergence of other CBs they showed they don't need him. Especially winning over the poor playing Kitna. He is past his prime for sure, but he could add some more veteran leadership and security to our corners, especially if Fabian is not able to rebound. We have some games against tough QBs coming up. Only problem of course would be who goes? What do you guys think, somewhere else or Baltimore? And who goes?

Oh and he was just coming off the PUP list, he apparently is healthy and was cleared to play yesterday, but he was just not needed.

Wow. that's a bit of a shocker. But Tramon Williams and Sam Shields have really come on strong. Looks like the Packers want to start the youth transition. Rebuilding while winning. Packers are one of the best teams at drafting and growing their own. Seems seamless.

They are certainly doing fine without him. I'm surprised they keep winning. Through all the injuries and no running game they have been very good.

Aaron Rodgers is playing a huge role in the running game as well. Picking up huge chunks of yardage with his legs. Their RBs aren't piling up the yards, but they do okay on the ground thanks to Rodgers.

I'll be the first to say ... no, I don't want him on the Ravens.

I am perfectly fine with the Ravens secondary now that Mr. Ed Reed is back.

Thanks.

I'm not saying we should get him, but I think he'll find a new team quickly and have success there. As long has he hasn't loss too much because of the injury, he's still a very good corner.
