Its strange, I've seen his name around for the past few seasons and figured you don't start on a talented D like that unless you're a decent player, turns out Dolphins fans think he's horrible, not just Mase.
Yeah, I'm just as perplexed as you. Dude has done NOTHING in the NFL!!

I think what may have happened was some love words got exchanged and LeRon may have accidentally let some fly where Crowder is making a huge scene about it.

I mean who hasn't accidentally let some fly in someone's face? I have, totally accidentally and not intentionally.

I wonder if McClain would put a retraining order against Crowder because of the threats...
Haha in that case it would be sweet to see the ravens play the dolphins in the play offs :)

The spit is still on Chowder's face! But Sporano has that all wrong, they are actually tears.

I'm looking at it as spilled milk.

The Dolphins got punched in the mouth by the Ravens and didn't like it. Big deal. Welcome back to reality, Tony Sparano; you have a talented team, you just need to teach them to bite their tongue when the team is in dire straits or risk newspaper clippings like this across the nation.

Lost some respect for Sparano, aren't coaches supposed to stay out of petty BS?
Never really had any, ha :)

In all seriousness, a coach should stick up for his players, so, if he truly has evidence that LeRon spit in Crowders face, then he is handling it correctly.

I agree that a coach should stick up for his players... but something so petty and insignificant (IMO) should not even really be publically discussed by the coaches.

If it's Henne or Ronnie Brown. I can see it being worth pursuing. But Chowder has proven to be a clown. If I was Sporano, I'd like to think that this lesson in humility might be good for the loud mouth.

Following all the advice he gleaned from watching CSI, Crowder did not shower or wash his face after Sunday's game vs. the Ravens. Sparano immediately took Crowder to the CSI lab in South Florida to test the "fluid" sample from Crowders' face for DNA.

I don't believe it for a second. As Pu suggested, I also believe that McClain probably "shared the weather report" with Chowder instead of just the news, and it was an innocent "spraying." McClain's not that kind of player, but of course the media will blow it way out of proportion.

I wonder how much Ngata will be fined, if at all...

I hate that this happened (or didn't happen). It clouds the Ravens' win and their reputation.
Not really; just shows how much a joke player Crowder is.

I know what you're saying. but that clown Crowder has really drug the Dolphins name through the mud and I'm guessing Sparano is going with the lesser of two evils-
trying to give Crowder some credibility in order to mitigate the damage that has been done, rather than let Crowder continue to handle this on his own and keep embarrassing the organization.

Didn't realize that McClain had so many relatives on here.

This is the same guy who didn't know they spoke English in London. He finds some way of displaying how ignorant and uneducated he is every season. He's a clown, a wannabe thug, and a joke of a football player.

I'm a big fan of Leron and even though Crowder is stupid. If it's a spitting and i think it is, Leron is to blame too, he's been acting like a thug for a couple of games, spitting is even worst than fighting IMO. I just hope Roger won't suspend him !

I really can't believe I missed this incident during the game and there is not one single clip of it anywhere on the internet that I can find.

LOL Thanks for the clip Slim.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if McClain really did do it, but after hearing that there was a referee practically right between them I imagine the truth will come out soon. I just hope my fears are wrong because it would considerably lower my opinion of Mclain.

It does look like he did it though I've seen that head movement from people in a yelling match that wasn't spitting. Honestly, two things: There was a referee right there that did not see it. Seems like it would be hard for him to miss. And, if the NFL determines enough evidence to say he did, then he should be fined and I think Harbs should deal with it in-house as well. But, these threats of bodily harm and such the NFL should also deal with, regardless of whether or not the spitting is valid. I have not heard one single thing about these threats.

The ref was right there though.....unless he had his back to the two of them, I don't understand why the 'Phins are making such a nuclear catastrophe of it.

After review of the play, the result was inconclusive. By rule the penalties offset.

Seriously though, it's either one of two things, either he cussed him out or he did do it. However, two wrongs don't make a right and Crowder shouldn't be making threats. If (more like when) McClain does get punishment, Crowder should get the same for his negative demeanor in public. That's not the way to carry yourself in public.

But what does Crowder know?
