The Josh Wilson Thread

I thought Fabe would rebound. He did not do awful. But I was wrong and he did not play well. Wilson played just how I always expected...and better. He has two picks on the season now right, I think he got one end of one of the halves in Denver or maybe that was Hamlin. But he has played great. He does not let receivers take advantage of his size. Marshall had the better part of a foot on him but Wilson played great. He was definitely one of the key parts of our defensive success. Him on White I think would be our best bet. Whoever is on him will get wore out though so let's hope Fabe, Carr, or Webb are up to the task.

It's nice to have youth back there. Things can only improve back there. And with those two guys we are changing our focus of being more physical in the secondary.

Also, lets not forget Foxworth. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but if Wilson can continue his solid play, we wont need to draft a corner early in the draft.

We'd have Webb, Foxworth, Wilson, and Carr as our CB's, and I think that is a very good group.

Agreed. And Cary Williams makes a solid #5 CB.

Yeah, I think CB should be scratched out as a primary need for the draft at this point.

Yep. A center, tackle, pass rusher of some sort, WR and safety are potentially more pressing needs.

Josh Wilson was playing exceptionally well today, whereas to the downfall of Washington. Wilson should start opposite with Web: perfect duo CB so far.

As others mentioned about next year draft, I think we can scratch out collecting more CBs, instead of targeting more on pass rushers.

I REALLY wanted Fab. to bounce back this week.

He didnt.

Josh had an amazing day and Webb, even with out the pick looked great.

Depth is a good thing :)

We need Josh Wilson at a starting corner position. He has proved himself as a playmaker and more-over as a guy that will not allow himself to be punked by some rookie WR. I think we would be crazy not to put him as a starting corner.

Webb and Wilson should start. Carr has played well in the inside and should stay there.

yeah I'm pretty sure the bat is a no-go.
Was always an nWo man myself, at least until they started letting everyone in. Suggs would make for a great Scott Hall. No scratch that, McClain could do Hall haha...he can spit on people and call them 'chico' while Ray Ray bends sideways and does the hands-over-head fingerpoint..,,,,

obvious now how silly the amount of credit was given in this thread to our corners, our corners blow and are truly holding this defense back from being the elite D its always been.

I've always been a fan of Josh Wilson even when he was in Seattle.

I think as time evolved, he has evolved in this defense.

Plus let's give some props to Carr man! He's been solid!
[/quote]

Yes chris car is solid and he gets no credit @ all
