Scouts Inc. Reviews The 2005 Draft

6 posts in this topic

• Derek Anderson (grade out of college: 73), who was drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round, is the highest-rated quarterback in this class today. The Ravens waived him, and a day later the Browns claimed him. He was in the 2007 Pro Bowl, and the Ravens are still struggling to find a quarterback.
• Only five teams' entire draft class remains in the NFL (Tennessee, N.Y. Giants, Miami, Houston and Baltimore).

we were graded an A- back then and we've maintained it. Minnesota on the other hand went from A to F!

yeah I saw this yesterday I think, they had Jason Brown going in the first round to someone as well instead of where we selected him.

That thing about Derek Anderson was a load of BS.

I love how they always leave out the "waived him with the intent of putting him on the practice squad" part. All of these jokers were making fun of the Browns' QB situation when Anderson stepped in for Frye, but now they make fun of the Ravens for taking a gamble with a then-unknown prospect. I really love the media sometimes.

And yeah, I'll be interested to watch him against a healthy Ravens defense along with the AFC South/NFC East teams, all of which have a respectable-to-nasty pass rush.
