Ngata, Cundiff And Yanda Make King's Mid-Season All-Pro Team

Here's the link: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/peter_king/11/04/nfl-midseason-all-pro-team-awards/index.html

If Ngata and Cundiff continue to play at the level they are now, both could be AP All-Pros too.

I haven't taken much note of Yanda's play but looking back, he's played pretty well and made Woodley a non-factor in the Steelers game.

Some love for Yanda and Cundiff, wow! Glad someone took notice of his touchbacks haha.

As for Yanda, he has done very well at the RT position. Still, though, I wish he was at RG, paving the way for Ray and Willis. Not to change subject, but Chris Chester ain't cutting it.

Anywho, this is very encouraging. Would have liked to see Ray Lewis up there but these aren't, by any means, official.

EDIT - I also find it odd that he's got a 4-3 alignment when 5 of out 7 of his front are 3-4 players. All of the linebackers are; and the reason they're thriving is because of that 3-4 front.

*Vince Wilfork as a 4-3 DE is laughable. Umenyiora would have been a better choice if King really wanted the best 4-3 on the field. Of course, then, he would have to adjust his LBs, too. The more I look at the defense, the more feeble I find it.

Koch is not the best punter? You gotta be kidding me. 37 total punts: 19 of them inside the 20.

And if Ed was healthy we should have 5 guys on that list.

Anyone bothered about him picking Timmons over Ray? I honestly say it's a toss up.

I won't deny it, it would bother me even if Ray wasn't playing well. More so because he is having a good season statistically and he's ended THREE games for us. (The hit on Keller @ Jets, The INT of Charlie Batch @ Steelers, The FF and FR against the Bills.)

As for Yanda, Cundiff and Ngata... where to start?! The fact that Yanda has moved back to tackle without being a weakness in our OL is great, but I won't deny the fact his strength is in mauling in the running game, making him a far better guard. Cundiff, I have to admit, I didn't see him winning out Shayne Graham, but wow that was a great decision by Harbs & co. to keep him. Ngata, man this guy is a sheer beast, I can't get over how good a player he is!

Yanda's getting too much love, but then again, when you look at the other RTs around the league, its not unreasonable to put him in the top 5.Koch is the best punter in the game, have no idea why he's not there.Cundiff has played very well, no problem with that.Ngata is a stud.I think Grubbs should get an honorable mention; but he had a couple off games. Why no love for Heap??

Enough said. The man is absolutely dominating this year. "Domination" doesn't even do it justice.

Give Yanda the credit. If it wasn't for him, then we would still be reading sorry BS about Gaither.

Ngata has gotten some love... sweet. I think he's still a very underrated player. That may be starting to change a little bit though.

 Glad he's ours.
