From a fat point of view, it's healthier than some burgers from fast food joints. What the killer is with the double down is the ridiculous amounts of sodium. I can't comment on how it tastes, never had one. Did try their "double-licious" sandwich, which was pretty good.

I'll agree that Baconators from Wendy's are awesome... in moderation.

That would be true if I had ever had one where the bacon was actually cooked. McDonalds seems to be the only fast food joint that cooks bacon thoroughly. It's just a shame I hate their burgers.

The Double Down was just ok. There's not enough bacon in it, only two meager pieces.

I've never had one like that, it's funny you mention McDonald's bacon though because I worked there when I was like 14 and the bacon would always be so old that you could huck them against the wall or ground or whatever and they would just completely shatter lol.

Sonic pisses me off. I see commercials for it constantly, but the closest one to me is in freaking Columbus, Ohio... three hours away. The food looks great, but I don't know about Three-Hour-Drive Great.

It's still fast-food, so I wouldn't expect the greatest burger in the world, but it's a pretty good burger for fast-food. The tots and fries are great. The wide menu selection and limeade drink combinations are what really draw you in.

Cherry limeades are like liquid crack. I could drink those all day.
