dennis Sarfate, George Sherill, Luke Scott are all newcomers making a stir. What are your thoughts on the teams early success in the bullpen and in other areas

I actually have the O's finishing last in the AL East. In the end it will be a close battle between Tampa and Baltimore for last in the AL East, but Baltimore just doesnt have enough finish the season at 81-81 let alone make the playoffs. 71 wins maybe.

It bodes extremely well for the future, if nothing else. I'm happy with the start.

Plus it's fun to laugh at the last-place Red Sox.

I've certainly enjoyed this past week. I hope they can keep it up this week on the road. It'll sure make the next home stand more interesting.

yea they were on a winning streak last season too and were in first place as they are in now....and they just bottomed out.........so we'll see what happens at the end of the day here with this...we'll see if they (in the words of Deion) "pretending....these guys are pretenders"......well we'll just see if that philosophy holds true or not in the coming weeks, and the coming months.

All I gotta say is it is better to be 6-1 than 1-6 so I will take all the wins we can get early before the meat of our schedule (Sox, Yanks, etc.) comes up.... But hey, Orioles Magic just might be back and these guys, if nothing else, are playing their butts off, and looking good doing it!

All the experts are saying we will be a consistant loser this season, but I'm still holding out hopes.

Not that we are playoff material or anything, but I think we should end up with a respectable season.

Jones and Markakis are certainley looking like something to build a franchise around.
