Apparently, the Dolphins are considering signing Moss if he reaches them on the waiver wire.

Covering Moss and Marshall should be fun.

Too bad they won't be the ones covering Moss and Boldin instead...oh well...

Nothing like some good competition, and seeing if Mattison fixed whatever was wrong with our D. This would be the perfect opportunity.

In this instance, I'd rather live in ignorance, lol...
on the bright side, at least they dont have a QB who can really use those weapons.

That's a good point. Henne doesn't scare me one bit, especially coming off of a bye. They can say hello to a 4-1 road record.

If the Raven didn't solve red-zone problems during the Bye there's going to be angry fans come Monday. Also, the Ravens have scored less points per game than last year at this point in the season when we were calling for better weapons.

Something I've noticed! When the offense plays well, the defense plays terrible.

I LOLed at this quote from the Dolphins "Scouting Report" on the game: "Punter Sam Koch and kicker Billy Cundiff both have been OK but nothing more".

Other than that it was a pretty accurate scouting report.

This game will be tough and physical, ala Pittsburgh. Biggest thing for me is the running game. We need to get ours going big time, and our D needs to contain theirs. I am pretty disappointed with Ray Rice so far this year. Not as much with Willis, although the fumbles can't continue. Le'Ron simply hasn't had many chances.

It would be nice if Joe would blow up for big numbers, but he's been a little underwhelming in that respect. Who knows though, maybe this is the week we put a pretty complete game together. We've GOT to win these AFC battles, especially vs teams Pittsburgh has beaten. This is a huge game.

Pretty sure that Flacco has thrown for 250 yards in every game but Cincy and Denver. Not every QB throws for 300 yards every game...

Yeremiah Bell is out for Sunday. He is a very underrated safety. Gives joe a huge advantage.

That's good news for the Ravens. The TEs could make even more of impact and without Bell's sure tackling, the RBs may rip off some long gains.

EDIT: Whose reporting Bell is out?

It's going to be a close one I think. We can pull out the win though if our defense gets at least one big turnover and Joe plays like he has been, being safe with the ball and not turning it over. Only thing I see keeping Joe from doing that is pass pro from the O Line but I'm confident in them.

I can't remember where I saw it, but Yeremiah Bell hasn't been ruled outvs. the Ravens. Not yet anyways
According to Aaron Wilson, Bell was just limited in practice today.

The Dolphins do have suspect safeties so hopefully we can hit them deep a couple times. Boldin should do some abusing this game.

I'll be looking for a deep ball to Stallworth.

I think Mason could have a good game too working against Jason Allen.

If Donte is out there, I could see the team chucking a ball deep to him on the first set of downs. Just to test the defense and say, yeah watch your back. Then get Rice worked into the game.

Agreed. Hopefully, we see some screens to Rice to Wake's side of the line.

Those patches that Marshall wears on the outside of his arms, does anyone know what they're specifically for? Does he wear em to protect his tattoos?

Yup, we gotta keep teams from stacking the box, and calling plays downfield keeps that safety back.

I concur. Wake scares me, but if our guys can pitch a shutout against Harrison and Woodley, I don't suspect that we'll have a problem with Wake... especially after a Bye week.

Maybe they protect against turf-burn..?

They're like wrist bands to him.....just something he started wearing and has continued to do so over the years.

Slow down boy, Ed has only 1 game under his belt this season and you are already considering him as league MVP. One thing agreed on though, Henne has been making some stupid mistakes under pressure, so I won't be surprised to see Ed get one.
Assuming we are able to actually put some pressure on him.

I hope this is the game where the traditional Ravens run D shows up. I'm hopefull for 50 or fewer rushing yards allowed. :jedi:
It would be nice but every week we think the run defense will have a great day
(ie Browns) they lay a egg.
