Have the Dolphins smashed anyone this year? Honest question...

I agree about the lines. The front seven needs to eat their wheaties or something because Miami's run game can be dangerous and the offensive line is going to have to bring their "A" game to contain the likes of Cameron Wake.

Lol, after the last performance, maybe no one will cover Marshall. j/k j/k

I'd play the hot (or maybe warm) hand and go with the smurf since he's been the most consistent this year.

Lol, I still can't believe I'm sayin stuff like that about Carr. He was my favorite whipping boy last year.

I don't think they have "smashed" anyone... but I don't follow them very closely haha.

Wheaties are definitely necessary, Wake is a BEAST. Oher better be having the game of his life... Even though I was VERY impressed in the way he handled Harrison.

SMURF. lolol, thank you. I would go with him just because he has been very consistent... I dunno, they will be rotating all of the guys all around. But I used to hate Chris Carr too, bash him all the time. But I've been impressed, he stepped up him game this past year. He took Weinz Hard out of the game fairly well. (WHY IS THAT THE ONLY GAME I CAN REMEMBER RIGHT NOW???)

I actually didn't know the Fins have o-line issues, I thought it was the strongest unit in the team.

I thought so too... hopefully Ngata will have some fun... (:

I'm hoping the entire d-line can have a strong game.

So the truth. Maybe Suggs will get some action.

Maybe a repeat of last year after the bye. Johnson coming and sacking Orton. That would be awesome.

Yep. Would love to have a guy like that as a Raven. Reminds me a lot of Merriman on Roids.

Keep in mind Merriman WAS on roids suspended 3 times for it

I think everyone knows Merriman was on steroids.

But he was never suspended three times for juicing though. He was suspended 4 games at the start of the '06 season.

I know that, it was meant to be a joke.

Wake is like Merriman on Roids. (because Merriman played great on roids).

Their O-Line has been weak this year, part of the reason why their run game isn't as good as it was. They are also the highest combo bookends in the NFL. Talk about not getting value for your money.

got to agree, wake is very impressive. i like their defense as a whole, Dansby does a good job organising them and i think vontae davis is emerging into a future pro bowler.

but i think if we stop their linebackers getting a free run around then we should be able to deal with them. and then offensively it mainly about the run which we should be fine with then reed will get a pick or 2

prediction: Ravens win 23-10

i dont know what to expect from Miami... i mean, we are coming off a bye at home, a scenario which we have let to lose a game, but they have been undefeated on the road. here's to hoping the Ravens give the Dolphins their first road loss.

One of the first things you learn in economics but it applies to other things in life...Trends don't last forever.
Miami's a talented team, but there perfect play on the road is in jeopardy when they face the Ravens coming off a bye. Many of our defensive players are looking to prove themselves after a relatively weak showing a few Sundays ago. If we play up to our potential and minimize errors, I think we can lock this one up. Oher needs a repeat of his Pittsburgh game! Flacco needs to continue playing well. RUN DEFENSE NEEDS TO BE MUCH IMPROVE! If we can't stop Miami's Brown and Williams, we're in for a long long day.

Harbaugh and Mattison better have been working overtime with Terrance Cody on the bye week, to get him ready and to get him to keep his pad level low at all costs. As much as I love Gregg, hes been struggling this year

True story... one trend will end, whether it's Miami's road wins or our perfect record at home after a bye. Hopefully the former.

While Carr's been the most consistent CB on the team, he is also at least 8-9 inches shorter than Brandon Marshall. I think Brandon Marshall is about 6'5" and Carr's around 5'8".

I'd like to see Webb on Marshall since he is probably our most physical CB, who knows playing against a receiver like Marshall could get Webb pumped up and playing at a higher level.

Defiantly gotta have Landry or a LB for the double team (I said LB because I don't believe Marshall can beat Webb deep)

And If Brandon Marshall wants to come across the middle he just better know who owns that property.

I think this will be a real good game. Miami does a real good job against the run, but their secondary can be exposed (other than vontae they are pretty weak in secondary). Jake Long is a beast Tackle in pass defense, but their run game is kinda broke. If we can bracket and take away Marshall, I think we can control how the game is played. Let them get the underneath looks to Bess, just make sure the tackling is on point. On O we need to exploit their secondary, like we did in the 1st half against NE.

Oh, he does. He came over the middle during the Broncos game last season and short-armed a ball he could have caught when he saw #52.

Just messing, but I think if you click on the body of the post, it should open up some post options.....reply, edit and delete in the bottom right corner. At least it does on my droid and that's all I use to post...actually hate the internet site now.

new factor the dolphins could come out flat - thier coach gave them 3 off
I doubt they come out flat but it would be funny if they did.

Apparently, the Dolphins are considering signing Moss if he reaches them on the waiver wire.

Just in time for Sunday. Let's do it.
