McNabb Benched?

Apparently it was because he thought Mcnabb was out of shape and lacking the cardio to drive the 2 minute drill downfield.

Maybe he should go to Arizona next year. With the QB's they have, they'll treat McNabb like a king.

McNabb lacking cardio? The guy's been running for his life all sesaon behind that swiss cheese O-line, of course he looks winded at the 2-minute warning. That doesn't mean you pull the guy, though.

Grossman grasping the two-minute offense sounds like a bad joke; the last successful two-minute comeback drill he conducted was for the Bears in 2008 against the Lions...yes, those same 0-16 Lions.

I don't see how McNabb and the Redskins can recover from that inexplicable benching. Shanahan made it worse with his "lack of cardiovascular endurance" justification.

What makes it even more shocking is, this isn't Childress, or Wade Phillips. This is a HOF caliber coach making some very odd decisions.
