NFL Network Top Ten Draft Classes...and sitting ut-top the number 6 spot?.....none other than the 1996 Baltimore Ravens draft class....though i cant help but wonder if we desevered higher on that note.....seeing how we had 2 future hall of famer's come out of that draft class.....

thoughts?

thats what i said lol...but i think that its not just the fact of us having 2 eventual hall of famers come out of that particular draft....but also because it produced play-makers in their own way that impacted this team signicantly during a certain period of time....(our superbowl year).....and example?.......Jermaine Lewis and the impact he made throughout the course of that season and during that Superbowl win over the giants.

I think it's the right spot, when you look at the other Draft classes you'll see that the most of them are at least as good as baltimores was.

P.S.

Did anybody see the top ten weather games or Feuds, that's some real good stuff

i dont think that were "number one" quality but i do think that we should have been ranked higher in the order than we were presented as......i mean after all....we currently hold the Record for least amount of points opponents have scored against us.....and seeing the footage of that season, seemed to only prove my point even further, because when you watch it....you think "why the heck are they at number 6?!?!?!?!...they should be somewhere in the top 5" but i guess "one man's trash is another man's treasure".

im still amazed that the Steelers picked 4 Hall of Famers in one draft (1974)

Lynn Swann, Jack Lambert, John Stallworth, Mike Webster

it said in the video that the Steelers kept Stallworth's college film so that other teams couldn't see it, haha.

either way.......it doesnt matter how many pro bowl players you may have or you may draft at one time that depicts if a particular draft is successful or not. its purely based on skill, knowledge, determination and internal drive and instinct. heck i mean....there has been countless drafts..i mean a boat load of times in which, players were drafted and (though they werent the Pro Bowl type players getting all the attention year after year) they still had or provided their team with a positive impact and that showed up in their game play....one particular example of what im talking about would just have to be that of the Original "J. Lew"...in jermaine lewis.......he was a solid contributor for us the entire season....and was a key component in our superbowl victory over the giants in 2000....and he did it without the publicity, without the fame, without any of it.
