Bagel On Sale For The Jets

24 posts in this topic

I haven't seen a scoreless team for awhile and not from the "said Elite" Jets. The Packers were shutting them down good. I'll bet free bagels given out from the Packers fans.... :empty trophy case:

Given how the Packers offense was largely bottled up, it was only a matter of time before Green Bay would commit a series of penalties to shoot themselves in the foot and lose the game. Surprisingly, that didn't happen.

The Jets lost because the Packers didn't beat themselves like they did in their losses this season. Yeah, I'll go with that excuse. ;)

yeah, addtitionally Sanchez threw his first INT of the season; he actually threw 2 picks, desperately looking for some yrds for field goal. It's easy to dissect the Jets offense that when they can't run the ball, Sanchez can't carry the team. Whereas, Rodgers was able to move the ball for FG against the "critic vote best defense" in the league.

That's said the reason they beat the NE was the Pats couldn't stop the run which led to more opened passing option.

Welcome back, Sanchez!

It was weird seeing him not suck for a while. It's hilarious that they got shut-out at home. How can Rex spin that one?

It's going to be hard to be considered one of the best teams in the league when you put up a big fat 0 against a team that's bang up'd with a lot of holes.

Now we just need the Saints to bring the Steelers back down to earth.

To be fair Sanchez played a great game. If you actually watched it he was hitting WR's on the numbers and they were dropping the ball. Then the interceptions were balls that were wrestled away from the wide outs, should have been fumbles.

Sanchez had some key drops yes, but for every drop he also over threw, under threw, or totally missed a WR. He wasnt as bad as he was in our game, but he was underwhelming today I thought, and I watched the game.

I would say it`s almost as embarrassing as the measly Bills putting 34 points on our defense lol.

Not only did they get shut out but their punter attempting a fake on 4th and long and failing was just great.

Oh man.. that was beautiful. What was Ryan even thinking? lol

He sounded like he wasn't a part of the decision during his presser which makes you wonder what he's doing on the sidelines.

Sanchez missed an easy deep throw to Braylon Edwards when he just threw it away, but my absolute favorite play was when he false started and the refs pinned it on Nick Mangold. Good job protecting the QB from embarrassment and not just the game of football.

It was funny how coming into the game, the question was "How would the Packers beat the Jets? Especially since the Jets are coming off of their bye." Then halfway through the game it was "The Jets didn't come out ready to play because of the bye".

Poor Jets. No team wants that week off.

I also liked how the announcers couldn't get off of how great Rex's fake punt call was, even after it failed.

Okay, I'm done ranting.

How bad are the Jets going to be when the cap comes back? Seriously.
They'll have to play the same 11 men on both sides of the ball.

Haters all around.

Love how some people just can't get over their obsession with hating the Jets, even when they aren't in our division.

If it were say the Steelers, I'd be laughing also. And trust me, I'm glad the Jets lost Sunday, but I'm not extatic about it.

Dude, how often you see a team couldn't score a point in NFL? especially from a team that are praised as SB contender by CBS, NFL, ESPN, and more?

It's just hilarious.....

I'm ecstatic (hmmm) about it, because the Jets have been talking crap all season, and bad mouthing the Ravens. What goes around comes around.
