Why does it seem the NFC division we play is always the best that year? In 2008 the East was the best (or tied with the South), in 2009 it was the North, in 2010 it looks like the South is sending 3 teams to the playoffs... The West is probably gonna be better than ever next year...

Having two weeks to prepare still doesnt guarantee that you are going to win any game or should win any game. Look at the Jets this past week they had 2 full weeks to prepare for the Packers and got shutout 9-0 at home. And a lot of people Im sure consider the Jets to be a Super Bowl contender for sure. Im not saying the Ravens are going to lose to the Dolphins but just be careful on putting too much emphasis on that extra week off to prepare with the bye week because I dont think it really makes that big of a difference...

When your team is a beat up as the Ravens the extra week means a lot.

I never said a win was a guarantee due to two weeks of preparation and if you read my post properly, you'd see I said they should win it if they fancy themselves Super Bowl contenders. There's really nothing worth arguing in that statement.

bye weeks are extremely important, but I agree, in most cases it matters little in regards to any particular game.
