Well, I'm stuck watching the Redskins and Lions like many, here, in Maryland :( But I'm planning on a relaxing weekend and rooting against the Steelers, Jets, and Patriots among others..

1 PM games that could mean something to the Ravens

GB @ NYJ And, I mean, don't we want the Jets to lose regardless?
Buf @ KC I feel we kind of owe the Bills' fans to root on their team for their first win. And as a conference foe, KC taking a loss wouldn't hurt us.
MIA @ CIN Okay so the Bengals are pretty much beating themselves up for us but one more loss can't hurt right?
SF @ DEN (in London) Troy Smith gets his first start which might make this interesting for you plus again, Denver taking a loss doesn't hurt us.

Moving on to 4 PM

SD @ Titans This one...eh...50/50 I guess
MIN @ NE Yeah, we really want the Vikings to get it together for at least this one game.

So, there you go. Some options for your Sunday afternoon. We know where we'll all be Sunday night. Cheering on those Saints!

I'll be watching whatever games are on either for fantasy purposes or just to enjoy football.

I love the Ravens but get so nervous watching the games, it can be tough to just sit back and joy them.

Any news on Reggie Bush? I heard earlier in the week that he was questionable.
I've heard that he is a no go for this week. I couldn't find the link but I'm pretty sure he isn't playing.

GB until that game gets out of hand. Then CIN and MIA. IDK who to root for in that game. I feel like if Miami wins they will be playing us even tougher to avoid a 3 game losing streak, but if they win they are closer to a wild card spot. Then I shall be watching the NE game.

BUF @ KC: I feel the Bills will not put up that same kind of performance again this week and the Chiefs will extend their AFC West lead, which I'm fine with at this point. Just as long as no one else in that division comes streaming back late in the year.

GB @ NYJ: The Packers have a good shot at this one imo. It might come down to QB play, and although Sanchez isn't Mr. Interception this season, he's not exactly Mr. Clutch either. I'm taking Rodgers over Sanchez and the Packers over the Jets because they both have good defenses and I envision both running games to be held in check for the most part.

MIN @ NE: For our purposes, it's good to root for the Vikes this week. However, they're straight up overrated and not good. I have no idea if this game will be high scoring, low scoring or neither, but I pick the Pats to win.

HOU @ IND: Although the Texans have yet to lose to an AFC team this year, whether or not us Ravens get the tiebreaker over them will come down to head to head in week 14 anyway. Meanwhile, the Colts have beaten 2 NFC teams and will be down to 2-3 in the AFC and 0-3 in the South if they lose, which would include two losses to the Texans. Plus, it would be cool to see the Texans turn the table this year finally and get the sweep. So I'm rooting for the Texans, but I have absolutely not idea which one to pick.

TEN @ SD: Although it would be funny to watch the Chargers drop to 2-6, for the Ravens sake, I will be rooting for them this week. But again, I'm not making a prediction.

MIA @ CIN: Best case scenario for me is for the Dolphins to win this game and lose us next week. Because if they win both games, they'll have to same record as us plus the tiebreaker. My prediction, Dolphins win.

PIT @ NO: The Steelers, as much as I hate to say it, are the better team. I think this will be a really close game, but it's a big one, on SNF, and a true test for the Steelers going into a difficult stretch. With that said, I predict them to do what they have to in this game.

How about the 49ers game? Any chance we would be able to catch that on fox or something?

Going to Wembly to see the 49'ers (designated home team) and the Broncos
Since the Ravens are on a bye week it's perfect, won't be missing any Ravens action

I like the 49'ers and hope to see Troy Smith do well

Yeah same. I mean watching us blow a 10 point 4th qtr lead and go into OT not once but 2 weeks in a row has taken a lot out of me lol. And this is me as a fan...I can only imagine what the players were feeling like after that Bills game. That's why this is the perfect week for a bye.

root against the jets? if they lose then we have the same record with us having the tie braker.
Yep, the Jets are a better team than Green Bay IMO but it could get interesting and I actually see the Vikings beating the Patriots if the Vikings do the right thing and start Tarvaris Jackson. Favre won't beat New England, the man is done.

Carving pumkins all day long, have some friends over, take the kids on the neighbourhood tour; have words with the wife and stay up late to bless the saints. And that is already Monday here in UK and I hate mondays, very close call with the squelers.

What do we do this Sunday?
No Ravens and we can't root against the Steelers until Sun night!
Oh no... :eyes:
Don't you get any other games on TV? See the Playoff thread for other teams to root for/against. Basically, all the ones a top of the AFC is who I'm rooting against. Jets, Steelers, and Patriots for the most part.
