well we knew that was going to happen. I saw the video of him being carted off and it looked like Favre was just sleeping on the cart lol.

Patriots lead 21 to 18 over the Vikings with 2:35 left.

Well we have seen the things that needed to happen, happen. Jets lost and the Titans lost so now what's left is for the Saints to beat the Steelers and that will make it a successful Bye Week for the Ravens.

The 3rd time in my life, I cheer for Favre, and its a loss every time. (NYJ, and Pitt from last year)

I don't think I have ever wanted the Saints to win so much, besides the Super Bowl from last year. Please NO do us all a favor! I really think they have a chance at this game too.

The Jets loss was so sweet... I knew Mark Sanchez was going to suck some time or another.

The fact that the Jets got shutout at home and kept the Packers to just FGs and still couldn't win makes it even sweeter. Can't wait to see what happens tonight and tomorrow, the AFC South is much closer with the Titans losing as the winner of the Texans/Colts will take over the Division lead, and if the Saints win tonight the NFC South could have 3 teams in the NFC playoffs.

The best part about this, with the Patriots taking over the AFC East, and if the Steelers lose tonight, that would put the Ravens atop the North meaning the Steelers & Jets will be fighting for a wild card spot.

I'd rather have the Jets win the division because we own the tie-breaker.

That's why we'd want the Patriots to win the division. If we are battling for a wild card spot. We'd rather be battling the Jets than the Saints because we have the tie breaker with the Jets.

The Saints game would be a gift if the Steelers lost, but the Ravens still have dual control of the division (winning all of our games would give us 1st). I'm comfortable with how this team will perform after the bye.

Yes, great Game! After all the Steelers didn`t look that well the last 2 weeks! Thanx to the Reffs they arent 4-3. Even Ward didn`t smile today! They are just overrated!

thank you Saints the REAL Black and gold won that not the imposters , but sorry drew your losing in december in baltimore
Not if their defense keeps playing like that.

That said, the Jets, Steelers, and Bengals all lost. This was a good bye week.

Cant wait to see what reason ESPN comes up with to rank the Jests and Steelers ahead of us in their power rankings this week!

There is no way the Jets can be ranked ahead of Baltimore now. If the Ravens fell for almost losing (aka "winning") then NYJ has to fall for being shut out.

If we beat the Steelers I'm rooting for us the Pats as #1 and #2.
Yep Me too, and specifically us as the # 1 lol. Playoff Seeding as of Now:

1) Patriots 6-1
2) Ravens 5-2
3) Chiefs 5-2
4) Titans 5-3*
5) Jets 5-2
6) Steelers 5-2

Hm... Interesting matchups we would have, Chiefs vs Steelers and Titans vs Jets.

* The Titans are 5-3, The Texans and Colts are 4-2, whoever wins tomorrow will be 5-2 thus atop the AFC South.

We've always known the NFL pundits love the Steelers so the ranking as a team above us just made me shrug my shoulders and say w/e. What really had my blood boiling was the talk about Ben for MVP. I mean, what? This game should at least squelch that talk.

Im actually glad the Steelers lost this week to the Saints. I knew they werent going to go the rest of the way without losing any games and losing this game actually is not that big of a deal I think in the long run. I say this because this is an NFC loss and it wont count against any tiebrakers within the AFC conference or within the division. With that being said, the Steelers MUST now beat the Bengals next week to avoid 2 losses in the AFC North. The Ravens now currently hold the tiebraker over us since they beat us head to head and as long as they do stay tied with us they will be able to do so. The next 4 games now are huge for the Steelers with the Bengals,Pats,Raiders, and Bills before the Ravens game. The Ravens have some tough games as well with the Dolphins,Falcons,Carolina, and Tampa so they could easily have at the very worst 1 more loss there which I am sure they will have.

The Steelers need to win that game against the Bengals next week to maintain that same 2-1 record in the division as the Ravens when they play them on December 5th. As long as the Steelers win next week even if they lose to the Patriots and beat both the Raiders and the Bills and the Ravens dont lose any of their next 4 games they will be able to jump them in the standings at 9- if they beat them in Baltimore on December 5th and be 3-1 in the division to the Ravens 2-2 in the division as long as they win in Cincy next week. So a loss last night in New Orleans while it was frustrating it's not the end of the world and I would have much rather lost to the Saints last night then lose next week to the Bengals in a very very important key swing game in the division...HUGE game in Cincy next week pretty damn close to a MUST win game I believe to keep pace with the Ravens and not let them get another tiebraker on us...

First bold- ha, okay
Second bold- why are you so sure

Rest of the post....lots of "us" and "we" in there. This is a Ravens board.

edit- we also don't care about the ways the playoffs could shake out in your favor if this happens and that happens, while this doesn't etc etc etc....
