troll much?
No I dont troll much at all. My threads strictly talk football and I try to be as unbiased and fair as possible. I have no problem with hardly any of the Ravens fans on this site. They all have their opinions and I know how much they dislike the Steelers and they wont give me any sympathy and that's quite fine. Just looking forward to the great battle this Sunday night in Baltimore for the AFC North...

OK Here is the AFC Standings updated through 4PM with only the Colts vs Chargers left to lend in more craziness. The Chiefs only jump the Colts for the 3rd seed because Colts haven't played yet.

Pittsburgh @ Buffalo: Steelers 19 Bills 16 OT

Tennessee @ Houston: Texans 20 Titans 0

Jacksonville @ Giants: Giants 24 Jags 20

Miami @ Oakland: Dolphins 33 Raiders 17

Kansas City @ Seattle: Chiefs 42 Seahawks 24

Tampa Bay @ Baltimore: Ravens 17 Bucs 10

San Diego @ Indianapolis: Chargers 36 Colts 14

AFC Standings Through Sunday Games:

1. Jets 9-2
2. Ravens 8-3
3. Chiefs 7-4
4. Jaguars 6-5
5. Patriots 9-2
6. Steelers 8-3

In The Hunt:
Chargers 6-5
Dolphins 6-5
Colts 6-5
Texans 5-6
Titans 5-6
Raiders 5-6

Eliminated:
Bills
Bengals
I dont think any of those teams you have in the hunt have an actual shot of getting a wildcard spot over the either Ravens/Steelers or Patriots/Jets whoever doesnt win their division. Teams like the Colts or Jags or Chargers and Chiefs are either going to win their division in the South and West of they arent getting in a wildcard. They have too many losses in the conference working against them and have lost way too many head to head tiebrakers as well. The Dolphins while they are 6-5 and have some winnable games have lost head to head tiebrakers to all 4 of those teams the Jets,Ravens,Pats, and Steelers and just will not be able to make that up.

Without Oher and Landry and even Mcclain the Ravens will have a slight chance of winning the division. If you guys dont win this weekend-and given these recent injuries it's doubtful- (you still have the Saints and then at the Texans and the Browns and then home against the Bengals ) not very likely you will be able to dig out of a hole with a loss to the Steelers this weekend. I'm not saying it's a definite loss but I am saying whatever chance you had to win got much less with your injuries this week. You have got a great pocket quarterback with an awesome touch-but when he is hurried and harrassed he makes big mistakes. Without Oher and McClains blocking IMO that will be all Harrison and Co. will need-this game just got a whole lot easier for us!

Even with those guys out this game will still not be "easy" by any stretch. The Steelers offensive line had better step up and play their best game of the year or the Steelers are going to have a hard time winning this game. You know for a fact the Ravens are going to send the house at Roethlisberger and if this o-line continues to play the way they have been playing the Steelers chances of winning this game will decrease a great deal...I also believe the Steelers need to go no huddle a lot in this game put the ball in the hands of your franchise QB Ben Roethlisberger. The Bucs had success doing this yesterday with Freeman and waited until it was too late at the end of the game and it costs them...

Steelers have plenty of injuries, too. Ben Roethlisberger is hobbled, there's a revolving door at DE, and your OL is down to second-string. Injuries are a part of the game, every team has them.

And who is saying that Oher, McClain, and/or Landry will definitely not play Sunday night?

Keep trolling, man..

Agreed the game will not be easy but it will boil down to quarterbacks abilities under pressure and Ben wins this easily. Flacco gets flustered and throw INTs when hurried and you know without Oher that whole side of the O-line will just cave in against Harrison!!

You mean despite the fact that, since Week 4, Roethlisberger has thrown four interceptions to Flacco's two?

More drivel.

A lot of QBs become "flustered and throw INTs" when hurried buddy. And how exactly do you know the line will crumble without Oher? Regardless, it appears Oher will play and he shut down Harrison for the most part in the first game this year.

Ironic that the line actually played better after Oher went off last night.
I don't think they necessarily did. Joe was sacked just as many times(twice) after Oher left as he was with Michael on the field.

yeah right, without Oher, we can survive your pass rush, and who said Oher is not playing?

I think you Steelers wish and dream he won't be able to play, and in reality he will play and own both Harrison and Woodley period. They can have this :empty trophy case:

Who do we want to win Monday night? Jets or Patriots?
Good question... not really sure. If we beat Pittsburgh, we go to 9-3, the loser of the Jets/Patriots goes to 9-3. So from a stand point of a higher seed, than Patriots because the loser goes to 9-3 and if we are 9-3, so let's it put it this way regardless we are still going to be the 2 seed when it's all set & done. Patriots win and go to 10-2, we win and go to 9-3 we are still the 2 seed. Jets win they go to 10-2 and we go to 9-3 and Patriots drop to 9-3 and we still sit in 2nd regardless the outcome of Monday Night if we win. Now overall.... if we are 9-3, while the Jets own the top seed at 10-2, all we need is 1 slip up and bam we get the # 1 Seed. So overall..... we need the Jets to win to have any chance of getting the # 1 Seed, Patriots win we are most likely the 2 seed.

Fair enough, I thought that Rice looked better after Oher went off, but maybe that was just luck of the draw with the gaps.

I guess depending on the outcome of our game the losers of both our game and the pats/jets game could be playing each other in the WC spot.

With or without Oher, we have our work cut out for us. Our keys players this week:Offense1. Boldin2. McGahee3. HeapGotta get Boldin plenty of screens and slants this week. With Woodley and Triple H (Helmet to Helmet Harrison) trying to crash our line, take advantage of that. If they're blitzing, they are giving Boldin lanes to dig into their secondary.McGahee needs to get substantial work running between the tackles. We all know PIT has a great run D, but the weakness of any 3-4 defense is a power running game straight up the gut, which is a large reason for McGahee's red zone success against these guys.Heap will see a lot of time this week, and will be asked to do a lot of things. We'll need him sharp and healthy for this one (FF alert: sit Heap this week).Defense1. Ngata2. Suggs3. JJHopefully Ngata and Suggs' importance needs no explanation in this game, but why is JJ a key player? We need him to give Heath Miller hell all day in coverage. If he can do that, Sizzle can focus on playing Smear The Queer with Big Jen.24-20 Ravens

Oher also had about 5 false start penalties in that first meeting that were totally missed by the officials. That could also be a reason that he played so good against Harrison.

I humbly request that we now refer to Harrison as Triple H. I shall not acknowledge any references to James Harrison any longer. Thanks!

and Triple H (Harrison) lines up in the nuetral zone every play with no flag, so lets call it even.

Dude, your punctuation is as atrocious as your reasoning.
You are suggesting the Ravens will have a harder time defeating the Steelers in Baltimore as opposed to in Pittsburgh, which we already did?
Seriously?
And don't give me the, well Big Ben wasn't playing...
You've lost more games with him at QB than without him.
You say the Saints coming here will be a big deal, well they are a dome team, an injured one at that, coming to Baltimore during the cold season, in our house.
I'd be more worried about the Steelers playing the Jets, than us playing the Saints.

"It's one thing to beat average to below average teams like the Browns,Broncos,Bills,Dolphins, and Bucs at home this year which the Ravens have done because youre suppose to beat those teams, it's another thing to beat the Steelers and the Saints at home..."

You said that, think about it...
We also beat the Steelers and the Jets on the road, how does that feel?
It's funny how you get the Jets at home, and cakewalk afterward.
Good luck!
Yea the Steelers have lost a whopping 1 more game with Ben as the QB this year. Youre sitting there acting like the Steelers have lost 5 more games with Ben Roethlisberger as their QB then they won. And the two losses with Ben were to two of the best teams in the NFL in the Saints and Patriots. You can sit here and say what you want about the Steelers not having Ben but Ben is 7-2 lifetime against the Ravens and the last 2 times the Ravens have beaten the Steelers he didnt play and the Ravens had to win a game in overtime in Baltimore with Dennis Dixon as their QB, and win a game in the last 40 seconds with washed up Charlie Batch as the Steelers QB. Ben Roethlisberger is a difference maker under center period no matter how many times he gets sacked or makes mistakes. The guy knows how to win and perform under pressure. And if the game is close and it comes down to the QB's on each team having to make a big play to win the game Ill take Ben Roethlisberger anyday of the week over Joe Flacco because he has done it and done it more consistently then Flacco has in big time games...

No, he didn't. He has a very quick first step and times it well with the snap. It hasn't gotten any slower since that game but referees don't call him for it. Again, Harrison was locked down for the most part.

how'd your game against BUF go?
You were right, it was merely a pipe dream to think they could beat PIT.

Cousins did a good job coming off the bench in my opinion but the o-line as a whole was still so-so in pass protection.

What's that have to do with what I said here?? The Steelers won dude that's all that matters. I looked at the standings today and guess what it said the Steelers 8-3 and the Ravens 8-3 and tied for first in the division. Whether the Steelers won 19-16 in OT and needed Johnson to completely gag on that guaranteed TD pass in OT, or won 95-0 it all counts the same way. They found a way to win period that's what the good teams do...

Ravens are, as of today, first in the division. There is no tie. Hasn't been since Week 4.
