Now I'm not a computer video game player, never have been into that. But I just came across a game called "Amnesia: The Dark Descent", and WOW, you guys have to play this. The demo is free, and I haven't even completed it yet because it's so disturbing. The point of the game is you're in a castle like setting, and you have enemies all around you (namely ghosts), but you can't fight back. Put your headphones in, and listen to the gameplay like that. You'll be looking over your shoulder every other minute.

Has anyone played this?

getting deeper into it now. I have now put this as the #1 sacriest game I have ever played, ever. It comes to the point where I don't want to play it sometimes,

yeah, it sounds weak but, play this game, you will not get 20 minutes into it without being psychologically screwed in the head. Its terrifying.

Yea Boh, I was going to ask you if you had the full game but I haven't been on all day. I can't even get myself to pay for the full game because the demo is too much lol.

It's just the fact that you can't do anything about what's happening around you, all you can do is just hide. When you see the things in the dark or in the mist, man it's really wierd, especially if you play with headphones. I've heard that playing it in the dark is better? Wow lol no thanks. How far are you in it?

I am at the "Archive Tunnels". which is about 8 chapters in. The game is 30 chapters long btw.

I have my gaming PC setup with surround sound through my sound card. ya know I would wear headphones, but the last thing I want to happen is me getting into the game, and someone sneaking up on me in my house, and poking me in the arm....

The game does not have a Physical copy out. Its coming from a independent company and the sales of this game depends on their well being.

the sence of absolute horror when running away from creatures and trying to open the doors by either pulling or pushing the doors via the mouse is incredible lol.

I feel ya on the headphones part. That's why keep the lights on when I play lol. 20.00 bucks is really cheap for it, and the graphics aren't bad at all. I'll probably buy it within the next week or so so I can see how the whole game is.

Yea what's with not being able to open the doors in those kinds of situations lol? I hate that! Never have played a game that gets me this pumped. Wish they had it for 360

im a PC gamer so Im right at home.

Even with the game Maxed out on my rig, the graphics are lackluster, BUT, this game does not need state of the art visuals.
