Who's Going To Houston?

11 posts in this topic

Just wondering how many Ravens Fans are making the trip to Houston for the Texans game.

I'm just down the way in San Antonio and was thinking about making the trip to see our boys play. If others are going it would be nice to know what sections you'll be sitting in so if I can get tickets i"ll know where to get them.

Anyone happen to have an extra ticket they would be willing to sell to an lifetime ravens fan (living in Baltimore) who will happen to be in Houston on Monday night? I promise to wear either my purple ray rice jersey or my white 52. Looking to go to the game but I am trying to avoid going solo.

Thanks!
Andy

Looks like Nestor will be down here Y'all!!!

Sunday Night Houston BBQ Picnic & Football at Griff's

Because we’ve been inundated with requests and emails from all over the country, WNST.net is putting together another series of purple pep rallies on the road in advance of the Ravens game on Monday night in Houston.

Two parties (because everything is bigger in Texas!):

SUNDAY NIGHT ONLY:
(6-9pm)
We’re doing a BBQ social, Texas-style, at Griff’s Shenanigans on 3416 Roseland Street just west of downtown Houston with a BBQ Picnic with smoked BBQ brisket, smoked sausage, ranch beans, potato salad and all the fixings.

Griff’s was founded in the 1960’s (like me!) and has become the oldest surviving original sports bar in Houston, and the site of the largest St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Texas.

We’ll have $3 domestics featuring Miller Lite, drink specials for anyone wearing purple. And it’s Philadelphia vs. Dallas at 7:20 local time so we’ll have some fun watching football as well in a legit, old-school Houston sports emporium where the walls can tell stories of Dan Pastorini, Clyde Drexler and Enos Cabell!

TICKETS: $10 in advance ($12 at door)
