Apparently the Knicks and Nets are battling over Carmello. I believe the Nets were willing to agree on a nine player package, probably sending their entire team to Denver for Carmello. We'd end up seeing Devin Harris and Anthony as the only two players on the Nets lol

McGee wasn't robbed. Him dunking three balls was inventive but his final dunk after Blake jumped over the car was nothing special.

Anthony met all the key owners this weekend — Knicks owner James Dolan Thursday and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov on Saturday. Initial reports were the Nets did not think that meeting went well, but Prokhorov was more positive with CNBC sports business reporter Darren Rovell Sunday.

“It was a fantastic meeting, trust me,” Prokhorov said, smiling. “No words, live music, excellent atmosphere. We looked into each other’s eyes. Just real man talk….

“Carmelo is in a difficult situation,” Prokhorov said. “For him, maybe it’s the most important decision of his life.”

Prokhorov also said he believes pulling the team out of prior negotiations was the right move, as was getting back in when they did.

“I think we made a very good tactical decision to force (the) Knicks to pay as much as they can,” Prokhorov said. “So it’s very good, it’s very interesting, it’s very competitive.”[/QUOTE]

Griffin's dunk over the car wasn't that spectacular either. Leaving it solely to fan vote just doesn't seem fair.

I don't disagree Griffen dunking over the car was special either but neither of McGee's final round dunks were more impressive in my opinion.

I think the panel would have given it to Blake anyway.

Are there any other trades that should be happening? I feel like all this Carmelo crap is shadowing over other trades, that haven't been focused on at all. Like I know rumors of Cavs trying to trade Ramon Sessions, but how true is that?

Don't get me wrong, I think Griffin would have won anyway considering all that went into it, but I also think that McGee isn't getting enough credit.

Speaking of which, Ibaka's free throw line dunk should have gotten a 50 - not even Dr. J or Jordan flew that far!

Also ESPN Chris Broussard said that both the Lakers and Knicks are working on a deal with Rockets that would send Guard Aaron Brooks to their team. However, Knicks are only interested if they lose Felton

Brooks to LA would be a problem. He's in the middle of the pack among PGs but is still a good player.

Carmello crap? What do you expect? Anthony is a huge name and two teams are battling it out for him, of course it's going to be huge.

The Cavs trading Sessions would be so stupid, it wouldn't even be funny. But then again, it's not like they're winning games now either. Can't get any worse when you're the worst team in the league.
