Apparently, the Heat are signing former Maverick Erick Dampier to a one year deal with the recent injury to Haslem.

He'll help down low but as this article shows, the Heat need to step up in a major way.

LeBron just owned the Cavs last night: 38 points, 8 assists, 5 Rebounds... in 3 Quarters! What a performance.

He sure did.

Cavalier fans have to be embarrassed with the way their team played though.

Pretty ugly and embarassing all around. If the players had come to play as much as the fans did it might have been more competitive. I expected the Cavs to lose and lose convincingly but not that bad.

LeBron would have easily dropped 50 had he played the 4th. It's funny because a lot of people thought LeBron would choke under the pressure. He was booed every single time he touched the ball, and made the Cavs pay for it.

Idk why people would think he would fold... That's a competitors dream. ... Payback

Can't let this die, heh.

One of the big four streaks is going to end wendesday with New York and Boston going head to head. I'm actually quite surprised at how well the Knicks are doing this season. I knew Stoudamire would lift that team, but I didn't think they'd be 16-9 and riding a 8 game winning streak.

The Heat looked amazing tonight... was this a possible NBA Finals preview? If so, the Lakers have a lot of work to do.

It felt great to see Kobe and Gasol get locked down. He's no star but Chalmers coming back strong has been huge and the team will continue to improve as Miller gets healthier.

Yeah, and I didn't even see him touch the floor at all tonight... Jones couldn't shoot to save his life; perhaps having Miller back is adding a bit of pressure on him?

Could be. Jones is a nice spot up shooter and takes charges well but Miller can actually handle the ball and drive to the basket.

I'm ready for the playoffs haha... the regular season, save for a few key match-ups, is pretty bland.

Agreed on that. even though it was funny to watch, I was a bit disappointed the match-up so many people were looking forward to turned into a rout.

Yeah, I thought Josh Howard would give us something, but I guess I was wrong... we need to make a splash in free agency; no way we get lucky in back-to-back years in the Lottery.

You must not know Josh Howard. The guy has fallen off tremendously the last three seasons.

It may have to come down to a lottery pick with the way the NBA is set up.

Haha, I know, but anything is better than nothing with this team.

Howard was great in Dallas playing sidekick to Dirk, actually. However, his character issues, frequent injuries, and inconsistent play led him to the exit in Dallas. Although he apparently wanted out of Dallas anyways. I'll admit it though, I was upset when I heard we traded him to Washington, but Butler has been solid since the trade while Howard's just gone on to prove that the trade was a good move. I can't believe Caron is done for the year =\
