Wonder who is more happy, the Mavs and their fans? Or the Cavs and their fans? As Cavs and their fans IMHO, have to be happy after Lebron dissed them on national tv last year? Remember the so-called "announcement" on ESPN!

Good points but Paul is a better 3-point and FT shooter and rebounder. He also has better court-vision, is less turnover-prone and twice the ball thief Williams is.

At the end of the day you can't go wrong with either guy. I think they are 1a to 1b in terms of comparison.

I just personally am a bigger fan of Williams.

Not that its happening, but I would welcome either of them with the Lakers.

The Lakers need a PG desperately. Either one would be perfect.

Doesn't mean hes a better pure PG.

Better scorer? Yes
Better passer? Not even close
[/quote]

Not a better defender either.
I think a healthy Dwill is a better scorer than Rose anyway.

Is he stupid for getting that drunk? Yeah. But I wouldn't demean the guy as an idiot just because he apparently celebrated [s]a little[/s] way too much over his Finals victory. DeShawn does some idiotic things at times, but he is a good situational player and he does deserve to be playing. Don't get me wrong, I don't condone or agree with this alcoholic incident, and he definitely needs to exercise some better judgement, but he isn't an idiotic who doesn't "deserve to be playing a sport for money" when there's guys like Arenas and Adam Jones who are still playing the game. Not to mention, and I don't mean to beat a dead horse, Vick served hard time for his crimes, and went on to come back to a stellar season. In contrast to them, I really don't see how DeShawn is undeserving to play a sport professionally.

Hes a thug....flat out! I don't take kindly to that type of mentality. He shows it on and off the court!

Also, just because I didn't group all of the others in with DeShawn doesn't mean I don't feel the same about all of them, cause I do.

As the complete package, I don't even know how you could argue.

Apparently, Greg Oden will probably be sidelined until January. So how much longer until Portland just gives up on this walking injury? This is getting, well it has been for a while now, ridiculous.

And to think, they could have had Durant. Wow.

Sam Bowie part 2.

It really is a shame though. Portland has some of some of the best fans in the NBA. They deserve better.

Not to mention the Brandon Roy thing.

Every time I hear "Portland", I think of Jordan going off on them and looking at the announcers table and just shrugging cause even he was amazed by all of the threes he was draining.

Portland did make the colossal mistake of passing on MJ, but to be fair, its not like anyone was expecting too much from Jordan.

Apparently, Ricky Rubio is finally going to join the Timberwolves. I've seen him play after he got drafted by Minnesota, and I wasn't overly impressed. I'm not even impressed by Rubio highlight reels. For all the waiting the team had to do, I hope Rubio pays off, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, apparently Rubio has stunk it up, scoring 3 points in 3 playoff games or something like that.

It's almost time for the draft, who are you hoping your team picks?
I'm hoping the Rockets get Bismack, Donatas Motiejunas, Jordan Hamilton if they stay at 14. If they trade up, I'm hoping for Kanter.

I really don't pay attention to college basketball, so I don't really care who Dallas picks lol

Most of the time in the NBA draft, only the first couple of picks are interesting. Not many people really care after that.

And this year the class is even weaker than usual.

These kids end up entering the draft way before they develop in to NBA level players.

No way he drops that far.

From what I've read and heard, he's considered a borderline 1st round pick.

Even with all the guys who decided not to declare off the board? That would be a steal. He's got bust written all over him but could be decent in the right situation.

I agree with your last point though.
