Why's everyone against Parmele? He looks good at KR, I mean I can't recall three times he failed to return the ball to the 30 yard line or a time that he's fumbled.

And I have no idea on earth why they put Ed in for PR after he visibly hurt his leg. I have never questioned the judgment of Ozzie, Harbs, Cam, Rex, or Mattison (I hate Monday Morning QBs) but I definitely have to question the decision to have an injured Reed (who limped onto the field) return a punt. I think Nakamura or Stallworth could be good PRs, and for some reason I think Zibby had some good flashes in the past (barring against NYJ) and I would like to see him back.

Really? I can't recall 3 times he's returned it past the 30.....no explosion what so ever!

What I've heard from Harbaugh from his show is very inconclusive. He seemed reticent to say that they weren't considering Webb, but didn't want to come out and say 'no'. When Webb is the most promising back you have on a team still needing all the depth it can, I can understand his 'mum's the word' approach. I guess wait and see is the best way to look at it.

if you don't occasionally put ed reed in for punt return ya doing the team an injustice cuz the other team would not always kick it to him and would make a mistake. ed reed should be returning punts for a spark/game changing performance.

did we forget that even Deion Sanders returned kicks as a future HOFer like ED reed?!?! 1995/96 sanders was playing offense, defense, and special teams. oh yeah...and the occasional baseball game. pretty sure ed reed aint' as fragile as lil ol deion sanders.

but the downside is....ed reed likes to latteral and holds the ball like a loaf of bread.

There's a story out front that says Derrick Mason has been lobbying to return kicks:

He was good in Tenn at returning kicks.
