Merged: Week 7 Complaints about the Fans

Ok I went to the game sunday against the Bills and was sitting in section 140.... Most of these people were not into the game at all... late in the forth quarter and overtime when we needed to make noise 90 percent of the section was sitting down not into the game at all!

I kinda ticked me off "play like a raven" "coach like a raven"

folks you need to make noise "cheer like a raven"

they needed the support the most late in the game and most of this section were fairweather fans

That's a bit shocking. 140 is a section with a heavy fill of season ticket holders. Must've been shell shocked. Usually that doesn't happen. We have some of the best loudest fans in the biz.

A whole group of people behind me were out of town they actually left end of third quarter....

I expected better that was the first time I was in 140.....And I thought the fans would be better in that section....

Maybe cause we were playing the Bills they werent into it I dunno

I was wondering if anyone else noticed the Booing of our offense? That really made me mad although i was upset with the play calling as well why would we boo our own team in our house?

Living in KY, a similar thing happened with the UK football team. The UK fans were booing the Cats at HOME and their WR Randall Cobb had this to say;

"To all the fans: loved seein Yall come late, love hearing Yall tell us we suck during the game, love that we have to play against our own fans too! Love that we can't pack the house when we play the #10 team in the nation. It means that much more to me. I love my team! Brotherhood they got my back n I got they back. The rest of Yall can get ready for bball season! Don't say u support n do all those things! Yeah I'm level 9 pissed... so deal w it! Not blaming all but Yall know who I'm talking abt- Yall know I love #bbn but something needed to be said."

I think people are quick to criticize unless you play a perfect game, even then people will complain. A lot of times, decisions are bad, but that's not a reason to boo your team at home.

Yeah I noticed the crowd seemed dead at some points. I was in Section 134 and it was loud when needed. Also it got to a point for me on third down I didn't even stand up because it seemed we stood and cheered just for the Bills to convert. The one thing I noticed and was mad about... was the game winning FG, I know in my section it was just little cheers for Cundiff kicking the game winner, but come on people we just won the game. It was like he had kicked a FG in regulation that put only put us up 3 to 0, not a game winner in OT. I was absolutley shocked! I'm sure since the Kick was at the opposite end of the stadium and was loud over there but it was quiet on the other hand.

I was at the game as well yesterday Sect 208 and I was disgusted w/ all of the booing. Sorry I never boo regardless of how poor they play.

I'm in the endzone and it seemed loud to me, but its hard to hear when you personally are screaming your lungs out.

living in Chesapeake, VA, i wasn't at yesterdays game BUT i already have my tickets for me and my wife and we'll be sitting in section 127 on Dec 5 when the steelers come to town. i guarantee you that we will be making some noise for our Ravens then!

Ive never actually been to M&T for a game seeing as i live in Hawaii, but i do notice crowd noise on TV. You can say its stupid but i notice when i watch some games like in Gillette Stadium or New England the fans seem so loud there ( you can barely hear the commentators s a play is about to happen, cameras shaking vigorously)its definately a 12th man on the field. But i noticed when Baltimore needs it most the fans arent into it. I swear if i went to a game and you were sitting behind me youd probably tell me to sit down and Please be quiet. because im ELECTRIC when it comes to things i love... :argdancingravensblueonwkk8:
