two minute warning, what's going to happen?

Is Favre going to leave Lambeau field for the last time with a comeback drive.

or

Drive down the field and throw away the game with an INT.

I don't see what Childress saw in Favre coming back. The guy is banged up, and is developing a tunnel vision in key moments. That last drive, he had 20+ seconds to get 15 yards, but all he did was throw to the end zone like it was the only option. You get the 15 yards, you have the threat of th pass (jump ball to Moss) or one of the best backs in the game AP...

The Vikings created their own downfall in bringing him back, imo. The team is pure talent, no coaching and no discipline. Good luck to Vikings fans.

Pack wins! Of course it came on a taken-back touchdown, but much like our ugliness against the Bills,

a win's a win. :)

Here lies Brett Favre's career
R.I.P.

Did you see him in the post-game presser? Looked like an old and defeated man. Kinda sad really....he could have retired and meant it and not had such a stain on his legacy.

Vikings win if they challenge the clear non-TD by the Packers in the back of the end zone. Someone screwed that one up big-time. Despite Favre's egregious INTs, he still had them in position to win at the end of the game. He's still their best option at this point. Just imagine that offense once Sidney Rice comes back... wow.

[s]Ok what exactly is an avulsion fracture?[/s] Never mind...just Googled it...and *shudder*

Just got the ESPN mobile text....Favre's got an avulsion fracture and a stress fracture in his ankle. Surgery won't be needed.

Still think he's going to start next week?

Which 2011 Draft Class QB do the Vikings go for then?

I just have a feeling Ryan Mallett ends up wearing their shade of purple.

They go for Donovan McNabb as they still won't want to rebuild.

It would make sense since:

Favre WILL finally retire.

Moss will leave after a poor season (from the team, not him).

Bryant McKinnie'll be a year older, Steve Hutchinson will be a year older and Antoine Winfield will be a year older.

Pat Williams will (probably) retire.

Minnesota would also be a good place for a rookie Quarterback. They'll probably have a new head coach (I think Chilly Willy goes and Frazier is promoted to HC), a workable offensive line, Percy Harvin, Visanthe Shiancoe and Sidney Rice along with the NFLs best runningback.

At some point you have to get yourself a QB under the age of 32.
