Chargers/Patriots Game

Didnt see an "around the league" thread, but I absolutely have to make a comment about the horrible call just made in the chargers/pats game...maybe you saw it.
They called an incomplete screen pass to Hester a "backward pass" and thus a fumble.

SD challenged and it was obvious that it should have been overturned. Yeah, just looking at the football in air it was hard to tell, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if you look at the shadows which are CLEARLY visible on the replay, the ball went forward about a full yard.
I mean, normally i wouldnt say shadows are a reliable measuring stick as pertaining to a spot of the ball, or some other measureable call...but for the purposes of just trying to see whether a ball traveled forward in the air or not, it seems pretty much like common sense to me.

Barnes is shredding the Pats. He's been hitting Brady on every passing down so far i think, looks like LT out there. Good thing we got rid of him and only played him on special teams when clearly a lot of people in here even begged our coaches to line him up on defense since he was our best pass rusher. That's a 1st round talent right there, and we got rid of that.

I know. It makes me sick to my stomach. Getting rid of Barnes wouldn't have been a big deal if we had Kindle. But we dumped Barnes even after Kindle's accident. Just doesn't make sense.

Yeah, it's amazing what Antwan Barnes is doing to the Pats. Remind me why we cut him again???? Terrible decision by our coaching staff on this kid; he's out to prove something, and is doing it.

That is heartbreaking when you come back from deep behind and then lose it on a kick. That kick dinged the pole, so heartbreaking for Chargers fans.

We can relate, we had the same thing happened to us against Minnesota last year.
