you can write whatever you like that´s what those forums are there for! there will be people who don´t agree with your opinion though.
i don´t question your love for the team or your passion.
but if you are the only player on the team with that kinda skillset and be sent out to get to the qb on your own on every play it´s kinda hard to put on big numbers isn´t it!?!

Yeah you wonder if he could make an impact on these third and long situations. The Eagles cut him too, maybe he just fits in with the Chargers better.

The guys who get Sizzle kinda ($) paper - are expected to get to the QB on a regular basis. In the past I have seen Suggs make up for it by setting the edge on all run plays to his side. But not this year. I have seen the edges get cllapsed on Suggs side of the field and on JJ's side too on a regular basis.

So, I still love Sizzle for his man-up-ness and his charactr, but I have to say I agree with your assessment on his star quality this year.

JJ hasn't be as good this yr in pass coverage or rushing passer.. teams seem to be running a lot easier on us than I can ever remember.. and we don't get sacks at all.. hopefully something changes stylistically within the Bye Week. because this semi-cover 2 drop linebackers in coverage most downs isn't work because we don't have little 220lb linebackers running around.. All preseason i kept reading articles about increasing pressure to help the secondary and whatever else.. Ok we lost kindle to injury big deal guy never played a down for us yet so where is the pressure... Corners can't seem to make plays even when the balls through straight to them..

Suggs is a very good pass-rusher. But he can't do it by himself....

If it was a 5th round pick it COULD be worth it Ozzie does a great job of finding good undrafted players.
I think Ozzie is overrated in other aspects though. He is still a great GM and gets us good players. But in the first rounds he seems to have trouble finding people. Then in later rounds or in UFA we find people that work really hard and are pretty consistently good players.

Overrated? Please. The only GM whose drafted better than Ozzie since he became the GM is Polian in Indy.

Don't trick yourselves into thinking that he is an elite pass rusher. He isn't. He is, however, one of the best OVERALL linebackers in the league in terms of run defense and pass defense. You won't find many linebackers, save Harrison and Woodley, who are better in both phases than Suggs.
