I think all of B-more has a mad crush on Ed Reed right about now. The man is truly unbelievable. Best safety of all-time.

Add me to that list and I'm in Chicago.

Im not sure of career int's I thought they said on the broadcast it was 48th and 49th. I know I was screaming at the tv both times go down Ed go down Ed he makes me nervous after an int with the laterals. But you got to love having him back.

Thank the lord Zibby is out of the lineup he was getting hard to watch at times this year. I know you will say he did a good job filling in for Reed. But name one big play that he had.............big hit, forced fumble, pick. Ed had three of these his first day back. I can see zibby on the field for this defense never when Ed leaves we need another safety.

I thought he stabalized the position. Hes not a turnover machine but he didn't really get beat or anything.

Can someone pull up the video of his second INT, its not in the highlights.

I just noticed the delayed blitz by Redding which worked perfectly and the fact that 5 people were sent on that play. I hope Mattison notices that during his film study over the next two weeks.

On the field, he looked as though he'd never been gone. He looked back in his prime.

Thanks, Ed. I'm sure your teammates are happy you're back but know we fans are too.

I don't think he did. He certainly made some big plays but you could tell he was rusty and still getting over the bum hip at times.

I was just about to highlight the same thing. He looked like he was back to his prime stat wise. But his on the field play left me wanted more. He seemed slow at times and left our cornerbacks in tough positions.

But that's what he does. He's the type of guy that will make that game changing play at the cost of solid coverage.

Did he get hurt? A couple times I saw him getting up real slow.
Not being in game-shape and the hip are why he got up slow at times.

He was never going to have the burst he had. He's only just back. The play that really highlighted this for me was the first pick. He looked really slow with the ball in his hands. I think Ed at 100% takes it back all the way. And yes I mean the first one. The second one he looked quicker and I thought he was going to run that one back for 6. What's important is that he's not got alot of rust mentally. He'll get the burst back and then we'll see his risks paying off near enough all the time, like the good old days.

A few of thoses TD's I thought for sure he was in the correct position to pick one or two off, but he seemed a step slower. He'll be good by the Fins game!
